From Naperville's ML:
We still have room for you at our state-wide write-in for next
Saturday, Nov. 22nd from 1-4.
Tim and I are supplying lunch at 12:15 to give people a chance to
eat and chat before the write-in. We take write-ins seriously in Warrenville/Naperville
with a highly valued frog on wheels prize for the first 17 minute word war
and various other prizes.
Lunch will be Sandwiches and chips. (We'll have bread, sandwich meat,
cheese, peanut butter, and other fixings. The idea is people can make what
they'd like to eat out of the supplies we provide. If sandwiches don't suit, feel
free to bring whatever you'd prefer to eat.
Please bring your own drinks, although there is a hot water dispenser at the
Warrenville City Hall, and we provide hot water cups and tea bags and
sometime even hot cocoa mix.
It's a great location in downtown Warrenville, next to the Prarie path--
I've taken short walks with my daughter every Saturday, no matter what
the weather--good for clearing the head, and focusing on the next word
war.
Plenty of parking. We had homemade caramel apples as one of the snacks
this week. (And homemade cookies as well.)

Oh, and a few of us have plans to meet up at Rock Bottom
(a microbrewary with a full dinner menu) afterwards--around 4:20 or
so. (Rock Bottom is near Diel and Winfield Roads in Warrenville.)
Please plan on joining us if that works out for you. (Unfortunately, Tim has
a family event.)
