Fellow Benningtonians, lend me your ears.
I'll be here for Nanowrimo. So if you want to shoot the breeze over a cup of coffee or have a tarot reading give me a line.

I may or may not be able to really meet up with anyone. It would be pretty cool, but I am a busy college student. Still would like to meet up with the Bennington folks if possible. This is going to be my third year here for NaNo and I haven't met up with other NaNoers yet.

A three time winner? I stand in awe.
College must come first, absolutely. And I'm glad you're taking the time to do something you seem to a enjoy, from the looks of your word counts.
I hope you've tried to publish some of those. I'd be honored to read them. :)

There are other NaNoers here? AWESOME! I've never won but I've been doing it a few years now. I'll be really enthusiastic; I promise!

Aww. Thank you. There are people who have won more than I have, but still thank you. I'm proud of it.
I do enjoy it, and at this rate I feel like I need to. I can't not. Even if I only get half, it is writing and it's better to have some.
Someday...Someday the publishing would be nice. I am a creative writing major. So it's int he mix. xD The only NaNo that has a completed draft though is my 07, White Ash Secrets. It's a very rough draft but that one it closer to being done than the others.
I really hope I can find time to hang out with people. I've always wanted to go to a write-in kind of thing, but not having a car has always been a bit of a problem. Kind of leaves me stuck at SVC... >.>

This is the third year I've found myself in October going, "yes, absolutely, sounds like a great idea, I'm in, where do I sign, bring it on, etc." I've never completed it but maybe this time... I think it would be great to have a group to get together with and either discuss what we're up to, or just be able to look at other people who are equally insane and drink coffee with them. Set it up!

SVC isn't so far. Just right up the hill from everything. I know it's a bit of a hassle to walk everywhere but at least it's not like Burlington where everything is literally spread out.
I'm in a bit of a tough spot myself of course, so my time will be a little sparse as well. But lets all keep in touch and maybe we'll get a free evening before Halloween to do some writing exercises or just chit chat.
The South Street Cafe is good for get togethers. Nothing too formal of course but the coffee is good and more to the point, it's cheap.

Oh I know I can walk places. I can just be lazy. xD
South Street cafe sounds like a pretty cool idea to me too. I'm not sure if I will be able to completely make it before November. I'm pretty busy running our Halloween things going on here. Whatever we end up having you should all come to. ;)
What days would be better for you guys? Wednesdays are completely out for me. Too busy of a day, as are most week days, but I'm pretty open if we want to figure out a date of where to meet.

My god, there's actually other Benningtonians willing to get together this year?
Rock on!

Count me in!!
I've only succeeded at NaNo once while in college, but this will be my second time, by golly! (I had to write an opera last year at around the same time, so I just gave up haha)
But this year, I'm in, and I'm going to go the long go. Anyone wanting to meet up at South Street, that sounds awesome.
Could we maybe try and set up a weekly time to meet up at South Street? Like every Saturday of the month from 4-6 or something random? I want to make sure its a time when people are generally free... but it would be nice to just pick a time and try and do it, since in the past I've never gotten around to actually meeting up with any Bennington nano-ers. And I know you're out there! (I even here there's some here on my campus, we just never interact).
I vote we have a weekly South Street time. How are Saturdays for people?
And how many people here go to Bennington College? Maybe we could also have a small check-in time on campus, at the Student Center? Just a thought (not wanting to exclude anyone who doesn't go to my College!!! you'd be invited too, if you wanted, of course.)
Yayayyayaayy I'm so excited this year!! :D

I might be able to meet up at some point in time. I go to the same college as On Your Wings, though, and am a year ahead of her, so suffice to say I'm fairly busy as well. Weekends don't work for me, since I spend all my weekends in Troy. Though if it was Friday at like, one or something at South Street, I'd be able to do that.
I didn't know there were other people in Bennington who did this besides the people I manage to recruit...which isn't very many, really. But I'd be willing, so long as it wasn't on a weekend (which sounds really awkward), or on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, which I have night classes on. x_x
