This is my second NaNoWriMo and I'm really looking forward to it. I was unable to finish my attempt last year due to health issues that were diagnosed in December as an especially rare form of sarcoma called LAM. Three separate hospitals said I had only three months to live, but I found a fourth who said they could help me. Now, 7 months later my cancer is still shrinking and it looks like I will lead a full normal life!

I've been a Meez regular for the past two/three-ish years (GirlsLeDisko and OhDoctorDie) and I have an epic love/hate relationship with it, but let's not get into that. Here's my account: http://www.meez.com/ohdoctordie
This is my second year of NaNo, the first of which technically didn't even start since I wasn't feeling Penny, a thriller I had chosen to write. This year, I'm either working on Jool Pepper & the Arbini Urnl, an adventure novel and experiment in characterization, or Wisher, TX, which is basically a 60s beach party to the soundtrack of Katy Perry with an Urban Outfitters wardrobe. I'm super stoked on both of them. :]
My main problem won't be finding time to write or knowing what I'm writing, but writing THAT much. I tend to make my sentences relatively simple, rather than embellishing. The longest novel I've written was only 32, 000 words, and that was over the course of three years, so this should be pretty tough. But I'm up to the challenge.

I've never NaNoed before, and I'm pretty nervous about it already! I will probably fail big time though, because when I write, I usually only manage a few chapters of okay writing then I bail out, or my writing goes downhill. D:
But I'm hoping I can manage to participate, and write something halfway decent.
I haven't really got any ideas for writing yet, but I want to include maori in my novel. I really enjoy trying to weave a language into a story, because I feel it makes it interesting and educating.
This is gonna be tough, but I reckon I can make a fair go of it.

I've never participated in NaNo before, and I hardly ever finish a novel, but I'll give it a go again, and maybe I'll succeed. Besides, I made a deal to a close friend of mine that I'd try to finish my novel if they would finish their story. Hopefully, this'll be the one. :]

Hi, I'm Jewelia but I go by Jewelz on meez most of the time, it's just easier.
I've been a meezer on and off for a few years but the only account I use now is bob-the-blob. I'm a regular at writers corner which is actually where I found out about this and I also tend to lurk at the RPCT alot. I'm planning on starting a role play about the plot idea I have for my story actually, it should be posted some time this week, maybe even tonight if I stop being lazy.

I've never tried NaNo before since I only found out about it last month but I'm confident that I should be able to get the 50,000 words done in time, I hope I will anyway.
I don't think I've met you before Shanoa though I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I sorta know you Indy, you're Marti's friend are you not? (Sorry if you're not, I get people mixed up all the time XD) I'm sure I've seen you round though.
