Who is attending PSU this fall?
I am a math major, junior status, going into teaching.
I love writing. I love reading. I love to hang out in the library like a true nerd.
If you want to get together to talk about writing this November, let's do it! If there's enough interest, I can reserve a room at the library and bake some cookies.
I also like cookies.

I have to wait until winter because Vancouver and Portland no longer do the reciprocity and there is no way I'm paying four times the out of state fees.
I do like cookies though. *whines*

It's my first term at PSU, but I've had several years of experience juggling classes and Nano. Only thing that's worrying me about this term is the fact that I've got two group projects. :/

Same here! Well one group project, and as a Theater major I'm working on the play (which is preforming during November). Don't teachers know we have NaNo to do? But good luck with your projects! I hope you get good groups so the work goes smooth and fast.

I don't attend PSU, but depending on the way I get from school to work (PCC Shuttle System FTW), I can be there from about 11:30 to about 2:00 every weekday.
I do like cookies as well.

Hey, I just transferred from OIT in Klamath Falls to PSU. I'm a sophomore in civil engineering minoring in architecture.
I tried this out before, and got about 12,000 words in before I gave up. That was in high school, where I was working 27 hours a week, taking 7 classes, and volunteering 10-15 hours a week.
I know I'm swamped here as well, so I'm not sure how I'll balance everything out. Having some experienced folks might be helpful. At least my novel idea is pretty solid and the voice recognition on my computer works pretty well (we have to revise anyway, right? haha).
So let me know if you plan anything, I guess!

New to PSU this term. Post-Bac student in the writing program. Yeah, glutton for punishment. I'm game for write-ins on campus. I'm only there Monday and Tuesday evenings, and work during the day on Mondays... but have Wednesdays and Thursdays pretty much open this year. And a new shiny netbook, instead of my old prehistoric laptop.
Fourth year NaNo'er, four time winner. Insame? Who, me? NAAAAHHHH!!!
Cookies are good...

Dern it. I work on T/Th. But I'm at PSU on Mondays and Wednesdays, doing post-bac geography. I will probably be spending 10:30-1:15 on Mondays writing in the Neuberger Basement computer lab (my laptop is ancient and can't be away from a power source for more than ten minutes) - anyone interested in an impromptu write-in may join me there! (Or another lab on campus, that just happens to be my default).

Hi! It's nice to find other PSU students here :) It's my first term at PSU, I transferred from The Evergreen State College and am now majoring in Sociology. A meet-up sounds like it could be a lot of fun; I'd definitely try to make it. I'm trying to juggle school and work right now so I hardly ever have free daytime, but if it works out that I have the time off I'd do my best to make it.

So, this kind of fell to the wayside. Anyone interested in meeting up later this week either on or near campus to maybe do a write-in of sorts?
