I imagine more than one person out there is planning on Tweeting his/her NaNo novel this year.... But I'm just interested in other Portland-based NaNo'ers who are also active Twitterers.

I think this will be my sixth year doing NaNoWriMo.... I still haven't made it to a single write-in in all this time, but I've managed to knock out 50K words each year, so I must be doing something right. Perhaps it a deep-seated fear of intense shame and humiliation that drives me forward.... ;)

Hey! I Tweet (brookelaughs), I live (well, just outside of , technically) in Portland, and I'll being NaNoWrimo this year! Very cool. I'm excited for this year because while I'm only 15 (so I can go into the ywp -OR- this website), I've chosen this one because I have friends that we will be doing here because they're over 17. Hey Jen! Just added you (thisisnotabout) and (totally OT) but are you on Ravelry, too? Knitters unite! I'm a twitter-holic and have another twitter just for my henna obsession (hexehenna). :)
I've only won once (the very first year I attempted - 2003) and have solidly lost ever since then. Life has just gotten in the way and my will is weak. I'm a baaaad NaNo'er.
I probably won't make it to any write-ins this year, either. I don't have a laptop and I tried sitting there was pen and paper once and it just about killed me. I'm a typist all the way. My fingers fly across the keyboard and can keep up with my brain only in this way. (lazy writer, no? yessss...)
Let's hope I can make it to 50K this year. I have high hopes. I like my story-idea so far!!!
