Gym! Mel! Elle! Everyone!

I probably should show my face around NarniaWeb, though, seeing as I'm finally revealing myself here... ;-)

I'm Queen Swanwhite, but I'm a horrible person who comes for a few months, disappears for twice as long, comes for a few more months, and so on and so forth. ;-) I'll come back... I promise... ^_^

Anyway, yay for more NWebbers doing NaNo! I approve! :D

Glad to see everyone here! :D I had no idea there were so many NWebbers participating this year. Hopefully there will be even more! :)

Anyone want to share their novel plot/synopsis?

Here's mine (I need to re-write it for clarity, lol.)

Gymfan, I really like your book cover.
I'm thinking of writing my first Narnia fanfiction, about Aravis's brother (whose armor she wears in the book). I love brother/sister relationships, so it will be mainly about their relationship before HHB takes place. Very simple I know, but my purpose in doing NaNo is to write, not to write something worth reading.

I'm going to attempt to redo the atrocious story I began last year, which rambled its way to 50,000 words by November 30th with no end in sight. This time, the 49,999th and 50,000th words will be THE END. Give or take.

So, the synopsis: it's a play on Sleeping Beauty, about a princess with a deadbeat dad and a mother she's never met. She has problems with love and connecting to other people, due to the fact that, on the day of her christening, she was cursed by an evil fairy and is therefore doomed to die on her 18th birthday. Anyway, she meets a prince and a knight, and adventure ensues in ways I haven't quite figured out yet.

I meant to start a new story, but I decided to just completely overhaul this one instead, because I think it could maybe be a good idea if I don't murder it again.

I don't have a title - or even a plot, really - yet, but at present i'm thinking it will be about Mordred, the son of King Arthur.

I'm writing a novel with maybe 5-6 long short stories and maybe poetry, so that should be pretty fun to do.

The first story is now about a boy who's supposed to be the missing heir, but he doesn't want anyone to figure that out. But in some complicated occasions which I can't summarize much, he's found out to be king and everyone lives happily ever after... ;)

I have a few other plots forming in my mind for the rest of the stories, when I have one that's fully developed and ready then I'll post it. =]

Ooooh, I would so totally read that one! ^^

Mine is a bit of a pickle. It's Christian (my first story in that genre too), but not your "feel good/prairie romance/etc" type. It's rather dark and gritty. Very PG-13. I'm not sure how it will turn out, but I want it to be a thinking novel. Something that you put down and then stew over for a couple days. I've read only a few books like that in my life, but I remember them well because they packed quite a punch. I want this novel to do that.

The same name as in Narniaweb :) .

The plot:

A young woman is a secret agent in an another world. She and her cousin have to find out who has started the rebellion, while not letting anyone know about their mission. It's bound to contain some level of chaos, some humor and perhaps, if I can manage writing it, some darker parts and drama.
