Last year there were a bunch of us who worked at the theme parks of the area. I thought this would be a good place to say 'hi' to each other. We were even able to arrange to have a few informal write-ins at the Polynesian resort last year. :-)
So I'll start off.

Hello! It's Gary again. I've now been a Cast Member for 3 years, and I still find myself working in the same location as last year (Disney's Hollywood Studios)...but with a twist.
The 2 locations (got cross-trained in July) I work in now are:
-Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure (stll a trainer for the area)
-Voyage of the Little Mermaid/Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage! (it's a doubled up area)
Look forward to tackling the Nano challenge again this year!

Re: meeting places--there's a Barnie's coffee just a bit off of 536 in an area called the Loop. I've never been there, but could probably swing by one night next week and check it out if anyone is interested. Or is there maybe a meeting place somewhere closer, like at Downtown Disney? I know there used to be a coffeshop/cafe on the top floor of the Virgin Records, but not sure if that's still accessible or not.

The Loop, unfortunately, does lie on a toll road, unless you come from odd directions. But it is a nice shopping centre. And I think the cafe in Virgin closed when the store did.

If none of the resorts mind us hanging out for a while, I'd be game. I know the Kidani Village lobby has a little library off to the side, but it can get kinda loud in there, and I don't think there's much in the way of outlets. Ditto for Yacht & Beach not having many outlets in the lobby, either.

The Poly never seemed to mind last year. We camped out in Captain Cook's (it has outlets) and we just bought something from the restaurant to justify our presence in there for a few hours.
