Me!

Sigh. This laconic style ain't gonna cut it come NaNo time. I need to get wordier.

Meeeee!

So, specifically, any other UNCW folks out there? We should hang out and write instead of study. :D

I'm at UNCW too. Glad to know I am not the only one here. Can't wait til November. I need to finish 4 papers before then so I don't have to worry about them during nano.

Me too! Well, sort of. I'm finishing up a tour in Iraq, but the Port City is my home. Even though my first NaNoWriMo will be written from Baghdad, Carolina is always on my mind!

Hi,
I work in Wilmington and live in Leland. Is anyone interested in a Write-in? I'm committed to this, but I need more motivation and less distractions.

I'm right there with you I just have been too busy with papers to actually get cracking on my story. A write-in will actually allow me to set some time aside to work on my nano and not my homework. If we do have a write-in can I please request that it be held somewhere on UNCW campus. I don't have a car down here so it makes it a bit hard to get around.

A write-in would be awesome! I don't have my license until the middle of the month, though T_T So I probably won't be able to attend until sometime around then unless my parents are willing to bring me. UNCW campus sounds good to me, btw =] I don't know the area well, though, so I may need a little help with navigating towards whatever building/area it will be held in.
I'm so excited! I dream about my plot, ha ha. My poor boyfriend has to listen to all of my schemes so I don't forget them by the time I get to those points in the plot xD

By the way, how is everyone faring? Is it coming easily to you? Just rolling? or are you stuck?
AP English is getting in the way a bit. So is the SAT, which is dumb, if you ask me. Really dumb.

Work keeps interrupting me so I'm gonna have to lock myself in a room by myself this weekend. That will be hard, because my bf doesn't work this weekend and will be bugging me to do something. But I'm really enjoying writing.

Ok so which days work best for people? I think either Thursday evening or any time on Saturday works for me. I probably can't do Sunday because I have a 6 page paper due on Monday. If we can get an apporoximate number of people then I can start looking for the best place to get together on campus.

A Write-In on campus would be wonderful! I also do not have a car at this point in my college career, so, yeah.

Thursday or Friday would be perfect for me, I think.

If we're talking about this week, I'm booked D:
Mostly studying for the SAT on Thursday and Friday, which is on Saturday, and then Sunday is a day of obligation for me and my Catholicness.

I hope everyone is having a phenomenal first week of NaNo!

Good Luck with the SATs! We can try to come up with a date for next week which is not so short notice. For anyone who is not busy though and might want to meet at the UNCW library let me know.

Several of my friends and I have been talking about doing a Write-In.

I feel like I'd be left out of all the fun creative-ness though. I'm NaNoWriMo Rebelling this year - doing a non-fiction guide book rather than a fiction novel. So I'm up to my elbows in research materials.

And the joys of UNCW mean I have two 5 page papers for my Criminology courses, two 4 page papers for an English Lit course, a 5 page analysis of my writing style, and then two 10 page final papers all due along the course of the month.

Wow. That's hard core. You're tough! I wish you the best of luck.

Butyeah, all, I'm available for a write-in at pretty much any time. My schedule is not a busy one, and I'm always willing to rearrange school around my writing schedule. (That's... not a -good- thing, is it? ><)

Just to let people know I am probably going to be in the library from 2-4 today. I will probably be sitting somewhere in Java city. I'm wearing a green shirt with white spots on it. Hope to see someone.

Awww, I'm in the middle of doing laundry, and I don't think I'll be done by then, or I'd definitely be there. :(

Is there another time that you can do today. I am soooo behind because I've been having to do papers. I can't do anytime after 7:30pm but if you want to we can still try and get together. I'm staying in Hewlet how about you?
