Hey folks! I know I suggested this last year but wasn't able to make it to a meeting I suggested (whoops!) but I'd like to suggest a pre-kickoff meetup for this month, possibly this weekend. I was thinking maybe at the Satellite near UNM or maybe Frontier -- what do you guys think? Are you interested? Where and when would be good for you?

I'm up for meeting. Although, this weekend is quickly approaching (today is Friday). And I'm out of town next weekend. What about the weekend after? I'm down with Satellite or Frontier.

I may be able to make it this weekend. Would prefer an evening but will try to make whatever. Frontier or Satellites is good.

I could definitely do next weekend (16th) and Frontier or Satellite are great for me!

Whoops, my bad for my poor phrasing -- I meant next weekend, the weekend of the 16-18th. Sorry, guys! I was thinking Saturday, maybe afternoon or evening. Since Jim's setting the kickoff at the Frontier, why don't we mix it up a little -- how about Satellite? Is the one by UNM good for everyone? What time would be best for you guys?

Satalite by UNM on Saturday works brilliantly for me, as long as it's before eight. (I have work on campus then.) It would be nice to meet everyone!

This coming Saturday at UNM Satellite at 6pm? Everyone walk around with a pen behind your ear so we can spot each other. ;)

So, October 17, 6 pm is the pre-Nano gathering? Just making sure. And, sorry I sounded "snarky" about the westside drivers. I guess it's because I'm really sick of the way they blast through the N Valley like it's a freeway for them. I'm definitely up for the Midnight kick-off and may try to make the Pre nano this weekend. Moz? Others? what say ye?

Oh wow, I can actually make it! Usually I work on Saturday nights, but not this one, so I will definitely try and be there!!! It'll be fun to see the ABQ crowd before hand, and maybe my muses will kick into gear so I can at least start planning.

Wish I could be there this weekend; I'll be out of town. Have fun! The pen behind the ear thing is a great idea.

Okay, so for a time -- let's say six, but feel free to arrive later. I'll be there for a couple of hours at least, and I'll bring a NaNoWriMo sign with me so you can identify me -- but I'm pretty easy to identify: I'll be the short kid in a hoodie with the goggles on his head with a MacBook Pro :)

Hope to see you all there!

Kinda bummed. Not sure I'll be able to make it after all. Have family in town unexpectedly. Going to have to play it by ear... :(

AAGH! I just signed in for the first time ten minutes ago and it looks like I just missed the meetup. Are we gonna be meeting again before or after the kickoff?

I know that there will be write-ins after the kickoff, but I don't think there will be any more pre-meetings. Then again, I could always be wrong.

The Pre-kickoff was awesome. I really got thinking about my ideas sorted out, got some brainstorming done, and think I may actually know what I'm going to be writing this time around. Whoo-hoo! I'm glad I was able to make it.

Now if only November wasn't two weeks away...
