I'm pretty much homebound, so can't get to these events that sound so enticing. Have to stay very close to home - as in within Leesburg itself. Might be able to push an Ashburn once during the month.

We had a group meeting at Greenberry's on Market Street in Leesburg a few times. Anyone up for that again?

I don't know if it is technically as into Leesburg as you were thinking, but I was thinking of seeing if anyone was interested in meeting at that Panera on 7.

Its nice and spacious with plenty of parking right there. The fact i is across the stress from a japanese place I love is only a bonus. Do you know the one I am talking about?

It was Leesburg! Because we did meet at Greenberrys.

I'd be up for it. I'm generally available on Tuesdays after 7:00pm and Wednesday anytime after 5:00pm.

Greenberry's was a good place. Wednesdays are generally better for me than Tuesdays since I work most Tuesday nights.

Wednesdays sound perfect. I'm part of a writing club and there are some of us participating this year so I'll pass it along to them as well. Shall we say 6:30 till whenever?

Have you guys had your first meet and greet yet? I'm in Sterling but would love to come. Was the location decided as Greenburry's or Panera?

Greenberry's.

We haven't met yet. I probably won't start going until November. I need to get some things done before I turn into a Noveling Machine so I'm pretty booked in October. But don't let THAT stop everyone else!! ;-)

Oooh, a Leesburg write-in sounds good -- I'm in Ashburn and that's much closer than Reston or Fairfax. I'll probably be trying to set up some Ashburn ones too -- just need to scope out some of the coffee shops to see what's a good one.

So Wednesdays at 6:30 at Greenberry's? I will hopefully see some of you there in November!

Erin,

I have sort of been talking to my classmates from this summer about meeting up at Panera Bread in Ashburn over by the Home Depot. We had a couple of write ups over there last season and the WiFi is free....not sure about coffee though. Tentatively, we are planning something the last week in October as a kick off. Would you like me to add you to the list for the email distro?

Greenberry's is good on Wednesday nights- Where is the Panera in Ashburn everyone is talking about- all the way out past Harris Teeters? I think Brunoboy and I met there last year.

The Panera is kind of tucked back out of the way -- it's a big shopping cetner but not right out in the middle of Ashburn like most of the shopping centers are. If you're coming in off 28 on Waxpool, you know where the Fuddrucker's/Starbucks/Potbelly/Bertucci are? If you turn left at that light onto Ashburn Village Blvd, the road will narrow to 2 lanes, and you'll go through a 4-way stop, and then suddenly it'll become suburbia again and there's a light at Shellhorn. Turn left there, and Panera is in the shopping center that's immediately on your right. There's a Home Depot in the next parking lot over, and a Foster's Grille and Giant and Chipotle in the actual shopping center with Panera. I think the address is technically on Greenyway Corporate Drive or something.

And if I just gave directions to the complete wrong Panera, someone please correct me ;)

Looks like I missed the meet and greet, but if there is another write-in before we start, please let me know. I am on deadline (book due Nov. 1) but if there is a Leesburg gathering I will be there.

As for Greenberry's write-in I wasn't going to start going before November! No real meet-and-greet as far as I'm concerned.

Which reminds me... did anyone inform our MLs of this little gathering to get it on the calendar? I guess I'll shoot them a NaNoMail.

Most certainly anyone is welcome!!!

The more the merrier! Although, we may have to rethink Greenberry's if there are too too many people. They don't have a ton of seating.

Though I think we should just cross that bridge if we come to it. No sense in anticipating a problem that might not occur! :)

See everyone on Wed, 11/4!!

What is the outlet situation at this place and parking and what not?

I want to come but I don't know where it is or if there is parking close by or outlets. Without being plugged in I only have like 30 minutes of battery life.

There are a decent number of outlets, and parking is easily within walking... I don't know that you could run an extension cord from your car to the place if that's what you're getting at?!

There's usually someone or a couple of people who bring a power strip which helps maximize the number of outlets.

Wednsdays at Greenberrys - so starting on 11/4 and then each week there after.

If there's another Leesburg-ish write-in on this thread too, I don't really know what day/time/place.
