I am so pleased to report that we had 37 people show up tonight at the library meet and greet, and most of them were faces I was not familiar with. I just want to encourage the rest of you out there to come to the next meet and greet on Mon at Daz bog (see calendar for details). Whether an returning wrimo or a new one they are so beneficial, as you will meet people that will help keep you motivated all month long. If you are a returning wrimo please help newbies feel welcome, maybe even consider being a writing buddy for someone new. I know I am willing to take on a mentoring role if someone is crazy enough to want me as a buddy.
I hope to see even more people on Mon, although 37 will be hard to beat.
P.S. There is also an outline in scheduled for the end of the month. Come meet people and do a little planning, or maybe just get a jumpstart on your caffeine consumption.

I'm happy about the turn out for the first M&G. My hubby, SIL and I will be at the M&G on the 19th; hubby and SIL are planning on attending the plotting/outline thingie at the end of the month. Unfortunately, I'll be in class. Fortunately, it's one of my very favorite of all time classes to teach!

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the last meet and greet, and I won't be able to make it to the next one. Monday and Wednesday nights just happen to be my busiest nights of the week. I will, however, make it to the outline thing on the 27th and be fashionably late since I have class until 7:50 that night. And I also plan to be at every Friday night/Sunday write-in that I can during November. So hopefully folks will be seeing quite a bit of me pretty soon.

Went to the one on the 19th! It was fun, even though I managed to say absolutely nothing the entire time. I have an excuse though! Thanks to a cold, I have no voice right now. But I enjoyed listening to everyone else talk.
