Hi, everyone :D I'm the puppeteer behind Doon Magen. NaNoWriMo is how I found VH (THANKS TO THE VH GROUP LAST YEAR THAT I CAME ACROSS <3) but this is really going to be my first time participating haha. My personal goal is 20,000 because, honestly, reaching that would be an amazing achievement for me. I'm not great at keeping the plot.
I'm excited for thisss even though it'll probably suck up a lot of my miniscule muse and time :P Wheee.

My goal? I have no idea. I'll come up with one, though. My computer has died, so I can't get on every day. So, I'm gonna say about 10,000. Don't hold it to me, though. I may even only be able to get on once a week. I know, not a lot. And I may only be able to make one post. I can go ahead and tell you that that post won't be 4,000 words, or whatever. I know. I'm actually seriously considering restarting her, though, and bringing her back as a first year when I have time. Turns out I haven't had much time to keep up with the site and my characters.

Hey all!
I probably don't really belong here since I haven't actually been on VH for quite a few years, but I thought I'd pop in when I saw this thread. On VH, I'm Rohtia Stewart, an alum who was in the second graduating class. I think Alex is about the only one who I actually recognize in this thread so far, but it was VH that got me really writing more than 3 sentence posts.
I'm hoping to actually win this year, so my goal is to get at least 50k words. I'm not sure if I'll make it, since other than through a lot of threads, I've never actually written that much. But here's hoping.

Heyy there all. Cayden Murray's puppeteer here. :) This is my first year doing this, but I signed up for this website in early August because I had so much fun developing my friends characters and plots, I decided to sign up earlier in preparation to write my own. The thing is I can never stay loyal to one story or plot. A character is easy to stick with, a story, not so much. So I will be surprised if I even get to the climax of my purty little novel. 15k words would be amazing for me. XDD *crosses fingers and wishes*

Wooow! Hey everyone! The VH turnout is awesome so far! For those who haven't been on/done much on VH as of late, our chats would be more awesome if you decide to join us! Which you definitely should consider. <3
I'm thinking we should have some sort of kick off party to stat 'er all up? We could all gather on msn at maybe... 6:00 PM EST on Sunday? We'll invite everyone who is participating in and even our 'professional cheerleaders' which I'm pretty sure all of us have one... or twelve of. Also, other VHers who aren't doing NaNo this year will be invited in too, to run races and the like.
For those of you who are new to NaNoWriMo, we hold races in the chats. Someone times us for fifteen minutes and we write as much as we can. Whoever writes the most in fifteen minutes got some sort of small banner prize or something. xD But it was still great, it's a boost to keep those creative juices flowing.
So right! Is that meeting time okay? Who is up for MSN writing races? And... I'm just curious, what genre is everyone writing in this year? I'm writing Horror/Thriller! ;)

I've decided to try now that I don't have a 10:30 bedtime :3 I think I'll make my goal...10,000 words, because if the end is too far out of sight I'll just give up.
