I tried to start a thread for Farnborough, but no takers yet. Not so far from Woking. It will be my third proper attempt, too, hoping for two wins out of three ;)

Yep, not so far from Woking!

Are you good to go, or still kicking ideas around?

I live in Surrey !! In a town called Camberley. Anyone heard of it? It's not too far from Farnborough (I don't know how to spell it) or Woking.

Yep! We are!

I've put a post up here http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/3317828 and suggested we meet up on the afternoon of the 1st for a write-in / launch party.

A Farnboro group would be even closer for me than Farnham! (where I live...)

This is my first attempt... got a vague outline but not sure where it'll go from there

I'm right over the other side of Surrey, East Surrey near Redhill.
I ended up joining the London group because it's as close as I could get. Only about half hour or so away really, but Surrey should definitely have it's own region, js.

I live in Frimley which is part of Camberley, i am willing to join any one from this area who wants to arrange regular Nano meets. I have posted in one for Woking but as i do not drive getting to Woking for me is a big task so any where closer would be an advantage for me.

I'm in Woking, but my sign-up was so last-minute (evening of November 1st) that I've only just started poking around the site. It's my first NaNo so I'm kind of terrified I'll not be able to finish. Which is, of course, why I'm procrastinating on here.

Good luck!! Looks like you're off to a great start - keep it up! And hey, even if you don't get the full 50k, you'll still have a whole bunch of words you didn't have before and potentially a cool story to keep working on ...
