Hey! I'm a teen. Well... I'm nineteen. And I'll be twenty August of next year, so less than a year. But I'll always be a kid at heart.

Hey me too! Haha. Almost exactly, actually. That's so weird. 19 - turning 20 next August. Weird.
But definitely a kid at heart. :] I've been writing since I was really young.

*le gasp* Are we the only ones? And is there some hidden irony that our ages are 13, 16 and 19? Prob'ly not ^.^

Well there are a lot of people signed up for NaNo this year, but they aren't all active on the regional forum or on the boards in general, so it's entirely possible we have more teenagers that are just hiding from us.
And yeah, I've been writing since I was pretty young, too. I've never let my mother see most of it, but she still says that it would be weird to not imagine me writing :P

I'm seventeen. Been writing ever since fifth grade. My first story was a 450 page novel. (hand-written) I'm recreating it for this NaNoNovel.

Hello. I'm 17 and a senior. Only been in school two and a half months and I already have senioritis! I just hope it doesn't effect my NaNo.

I'm not a teen anymore... but I just wanted to tell Sabra to eat a dragon muffin for me on monday morning (best. breakfast. sandwiches. EVER.) and say hi to Mrs. Lienau if you take Latin. If you don't take Latin, start next year. You wont regret it.

Ellie: I LOVE Mrs. Lienau! (I am in fact taking Latin this year!) And I will definitely eat a dragon muffin for you (and for me, hehehe)...those are deliciousss.
Even though logically I know that this is the Maine forum and it's not reaaaally that unusual that someone knows one of my teachers, I still find it ridiculously cool that you know Mrs. Lienau/had her as a teacher.
(PS: Mrs. Lienau is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I love that class.)

I know how you feel. I know that everybody's local but I made a little "squee!" sound of joy when I saw that you go to BHS. I grew up in the trailer park that you pass everyday on your way out of school. If you love Mrs. Lienau, you have to take Ms. Russel's Honors English class your Junior year. That class changes lives, man. CHANGES LIVES!
No but seriously tell Mrs. Lienau that you met Ellen Spahn online and she says hi. I miss high school so much.

Ms Russel's been in my Latin class, actually...she sits next to me, hahaha. She's like taking it for fun to brush up her Latin skills...we compare homework sheets and everything! I'll definitely tell Mrs. Lienau I met you when I have class on Tuesday. Did you have Mr. O'Donnell freshman or senior year? Gahhh I love that guy! Also, did you know Ms Russel went to Hungary last year on a teacher exchange program? (I just thought that was a cool bit of trivia to share, haha.)
How many years of Latin did you take? I'm on my first, but I'm doing Latin 1/2 sort of as an independent study.

Ms. Russel is in your latin class!? that's AMAZING! Okay, next time you see her I have a very specific message for you to pass on to her: Not completing her essay on what the American scholar should be today is one of the greatest regrets in my young life, and I plan on rectifying that mistake by finishing it and sending it to her at some point before the year is over.
Got that? Okay, anyway... I think it's absolutely awesome that she went to Hungary. no I never had Mr. O'Donnell unfortunately. And I only took 2 years of Latin becuase I took Spanish my first two years. I wish I could have taken more.

I'm sixteen, and I live miles away from all of you...in fact, I'm almost entirely positive I'm the only Washington county WriMo here. D: Anyway, I'm in Cutler, at Washington Academy high school. (WORST PLACE EVER.) Uh...so I learned how to read and write when I was just under a year old, and started writing actual stories when I was a little over two, and decided I wanted to be a writer when I was three. Before that it was farmer. I couldn't wait to grow up and have my own cornfield and cattle, just like the guy I used to buy pumpkins from. I think everyone wanted to be a farmer when they were two...XD Cows and tractors just seemed like /the/ thing to have.

I'm 19--barely a teen anymore! Such a scary thought. I'm a sophomore at Green Mountain College in Vermont (which is why I'm writing for VT). It's great to see more Maine teens doing NaNoWriMo!
