As is now clear by my location I am no longer a Yorkie (though I will be in my heart!).

Earlier this year I moved to Ireland in persuit of my career and here I'm landed for the forseeable future!

I'm going to miss the opportunity to write in the beach hut! Seeing the snow on the beach (and the drive there) was an experience on it's own last time!

And my moleskine is mourning the fact we won't be at the kick off in Leeds - it was all so much fun!

I would still like to hang around though and keep in the know about York events!

Happy writing everyone!

Maybe we should start a 'Remote writers corner' Quinny - I'm down in Falmouth, Cornwall, and I logged onto Leeds too. So many happy memories over the past 4 years makes it hard to break the ties I guess. Best wishes.

Chris - Sounds like a plan! All northerners at heart it would seem!

*waves to Quinny and Chris*

Ireland is a bit of a dramatic move, Quinny! Hope you're enjoying it over there.

Will raise a hot chocolate or two for you at the beach hut :)

It is a bit of a dramatic move! I was made redundant but then my company said I could still work for them and go and work in their Irish office. So here I am in a cottage by the sea in what feels like the stoneage sometimes!

My nearest Nano meets are an hour drive away :D I loooove being so remote!

Ah, but that was for the beach hut. I have a nifty black trilby for when it's not quite so chilly.
