I sent around an e-mail on Friday but in case you didn't get it, details for the kick-off have been announced!
Where: Lettuce Lake Park (off of Fletcher Ave. just after the I-75 exit)
When: Sunday, October 25 at 1:00pm
Details: Bring a dish! Find some fantastic, creative way to make it relate to your upcoming novel. If you haven't come up with your plot yet, you'll probably be able to think of something that relates to not having a clue! Be prepared to tell everyone, too. There'll be a few games for us literary types, give aways, and prizes.
Come and meet your fellow insane fools giving up their entire November to a fantastic novel. Make a writing buddy, get some encouragement, and most of all, prepare to pound out an entire novel in one month!

Haha I'm in the same situation: poor college student who has to scavenge for pennies to afford tuition. ;) In our case, I'd say let's just bring ourselves. =)
