I know there's always a GT crowd. Who's here this year?

I love your username. And this is the first year that I'm really doing it too - I just sort of haunted the forums before. I'm planning on hosting some GT write-ins once we get in full swing.

Do alumni/former shaftees count? :)

Do former students who didn't graduate count? I'm still in the area, just no longer at Tech. But I'll always be a Yellow Jacket.

I am a first year at Tech and at Nanowrimo. Hopefully we can have some write-ins at Tech.

I am a freshman at GA Tech! I've never done this before, so we'll see how this goes. But another girl on my hall is doing it too! So we'll keep each other motivated.

So we need to get together a Tech write-in or three. There's very little on Saturdays right now, so would a meetup at the Student Center on Saturday afternoons work? Being tech students and Nanoers, I am sure no one is actually going anywhere on Saturdays ;)

I'm a third year at Tech and a forth year Nanoer (though I'm a co-op so my schedule gets thrown all out the wazoo.). I'd love to meet up with any of you guys.

Saturdays would work for me, though I might have to leave early if it's late afternoon. I'm part of the backstage crew for Twelfth Night so as soon as it hits six I'll be heading to the theater. :)

Saturday afternoons work great for me, as long as nothing else is going on. How about sometime between 12 and 3?

Saturdays would also work well for me, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a write in on the 1st. I'm already planning on staying up at midnight to get started, but later on in the day would also be great for a little writing get together

whenever is fine with me, but maybe around noonish. I don't really have any plans for that day except writing so if there's any specific time you need to be someplace we could always work around it.

I have a soccer game at one, and I may have another meeting later that day, but I'm not sure about the time. I'll find out tomorrow when it is, I may be able to get it moved to another day.

If y'all want to do a late night write in somewhere on the 1st, I'm more than happy to stop by. But, I'm booked from 10-10 :-)

I was planning to have a write-in at my place on the 1st. It's on campus, and I'll make food.

A write in on Sunday would be wonderful. I'll probably only stay for a few hours at most (I have an Organic test on Monday), but it'd be awesome to meet some other Nanoers.

So I really have nothing useful to add, other than that I'll come if you guys are meeting anywhere ^^

So for a weekly write-in, how does Saturdays from 1PM-whenever at the student center sound?

sounds good to me, it will give me some incentive to actually get up on Saturdays as well as keep me on track with my novel

For the 1st - I live in Hemphill (Crecine). It's over by the CRC. As much as I feel like write-ins are an evening activity, I think we should have it in the afternoon, purely for safety concerns. Say 1:00, to keep it easy? Or would 2 be better? I'll have food and stuff, and anyone who wants to bring more is welcome to do so. The front door is locked, so I'll go let people in every few minutes until 30 minutes after whatever time we pick. if you want my phone number, pm me.

For the Saturday things - I like the idea of regular meetings. Where in the StuCen?

oh, and my name is Sarah, just fyi.

Sounds like a good plan. 1:00 sounds pretty good to me, but 2 also works just as well.

As for the student center, there's always the area outside of the food court, or possibly outside of burdells.

Both of those sound wonderful to me.

I'm in Hemphill as well, so if you'd like me to bring any sort of extra food I can (Even just like chips or something. I'm going out shopping tomorrow afternoon, so I can pick up stuff while I'm out)

On Sunday I have a soccer game from one to two... If it could possibly get pushed back to three, that would be lovely. And I'm right up the street in Caldwell, actually.

I was thinking the tables and chairs outside the eastern entrance, by that little cafe place and in front of the hair salon. As I recall it gets less traffic in that section and there's enough seating there for a number of people.

This is awesome. Like yesterday I was sad about missing the thing at the Varsity and now there is more nanowrimo stuff close to where I can attend them.
