Bellevue Anyone?

I live in downtown Bellevue, so I'd be up to Write-ins close by.

Yay, finally a Bellevue topic!

Though I don't live in Bellevue anymore and the apartment that I lived in downtown would have been perfect for a meet-up. Kitchen and everything. :(

Yeah! I'm not alone in Bellevue! I too would be interested in joining up for a write in close to downtown Bellevue.

I'm pretty open either weekday evenings or weekends. I plan to go somewhere right after work during November to write anyway. The Starbucks next to Barnes & Noble has a conference room too...not sure if you can reserve it or if it has power outlets. I can check if people are interested & report back.

I've had a good relationship with Jitters in Bellevue (148th Ave and NE 20th) behind Sears and have often organized write-ins there. I'm in discussions with them at the moment about having a late-night write-in, maybe halfway through the month. They have free wifi and great coffee. What else could a writer need? Let me know if you'd like me to organize something there. I know it's a little further out than downtown, though.

Awesome! I just got a new job so I need to check my schedule before I can commit to organizing anything, but I will post here when I figure it out. I would offer my apartment but it's too small and I have no where to hide the hubby.

I would come to Jitters, much closer than Redmond :) and it sounds like a fun place!

I'm in Bellevue too on 148th and Main so Downtown is not bad.

Does Friday or Saturday night work best for people for a late-night write-in. I'm thinking around 10:30-1:30 on either Friday the 13th or Saturday the 14th. Manager of Jitters told me today that she was interested in doing it and they could hold up to about 40 people in the three rooms there. Please be aware, I haven't talked to her about a fee yet. I may ask people to chip in to have the place opened up for us or make it a two drink minimum (coffee, tea, chocolate, granita, and sodas).

I'm pretty wide open for 9:30 or later weeknights in downtown Bellevue or whenever on weekends. Sadly I have children who need to be fetched from activities as well as otehr children who need to be supervised over homeowrk, dinner, and bedtime, a miraculous warping of time and space requiring both parents to accomplish. Once they are all home and in bed, I can turn them over to the husband and write until I fall alseep or the sun comes up, but the first is certain to occur sooner.

I may be hitting parts of the Tukwila write-ins since I am out there doing kid pickups for kids doing young writers nanowrimo anyway on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I can't do weekday afternoons because, sadly, I have to drive children around. I can do weekday mornings, later nights after 9 PM, or weekends. :(

I vote yes on Jitters late night. I'll be happy to purchase at least two drinks and/or granita. Mmmm granita.

I am right now available weekday mornings and early afternoon, so far my shifts I think will be between 4 and 11 pm. B&N is good place for me, I can walk there from my house. I will plan on being there on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10am and 2pm if anyone available wants to meet me.

I'm in the south Bellevue/Factoria, so something closer than Redmond would be awesome! I'm available week-nights, and weekend plans fluctuate...no kids or anything so I'm fairly flexible. The late night idea sounds great - I don't want to say I could go for sure at this point - but if I can come would certainly be willing to buy a couple drinks. :)

Like a couple of the other posters, I've got a son, so my time is fairly restricted. But I'd love to join in when I can, and if anyone feels like doing a little lunchtime Writing occasionally, I'm totally up for that. (Big lobby in my building, plus I'm close to B&N for lunchtime meetups there...)

I've talked to Jitters management and they'll come in and open the shop for a write-in the night of the 20th or 21st (Friday or Saturday). If you've got a preference, please let me know soon, otherwise we'll just pick a date. This will be a late-night write-in, ~10:30-1:30.

I'd love to do a late night Jitters on either the 20th or 21st; I have no preference for either day. I work from 12-8 Monday through Friday, so the 10:30ish-1:30 works perfectly for me.
