Hello fellow Phoenix NaNoers!
I mentioned this on the North Valley thread, but figured I should also throw it out here. I am in desperate need of a plotting session before November since my current idea is extremely vague, so I am going to be spending this Saturday afternoon from 4 pm onward (and possibly Sunday morning and/or afternoon as well) doing just that.
I haven't decided where yet-- I'm kind of on the border between North Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and Scottsdale, so it's fairly easy for me to get wherever. Someone had mentioned a tea shop on the North Valley thread that sounded interesting (White August Tea, on Bell just off the 101), which is one possibility. The main branch of the Scottsdale public library, which is in downtown Scottsdale, has a number of nice little study rooms/small conference rooms, which I've used before, so that's another one. And, as always, there are Starbucks locations everywhere :-)
If anyone wants to join me, let me know if you have a location preference. I'll post where I'm heading those days if not, so if people want to just show up, that's also cool.

I wouldn't mind since I will be in Scottsdale. The problem is one of my bands is playing at the Venue of Scottsdale and I wont get out of that performance until around 7pm.

Looks like there isn't much interest in this, but I figured I'd post it just in case.
I decided to head to the Starbucks at Kierland Commons, since it's near me and I'm in dire need of some caffeine if I'm going to be at all useful. They're open til 10 pm-- I don't know how late I'll be there, but certainly til at least 8, possibly later.
I tried to use HTML to make a nice-looking link to the map, but I am incompetent, so here it is:

Anyone is welcome to join me-- I'll be the woman with the silver water bottle that has a NaNo 2009 sticker on it!
