Tell me that Suffolk (let alone Ipswich) is not a complete cultural desert...?

I'm from the Ipswich area so no XD
Well, technically no anyway. I'm actually having to skip this year due to already doing too much (mainly school related) but won last year and hopefully next year too :)

Well, I'm in Suffolk, but that doesn't mean it is not a cultural desert... There's a fair bit of tumbleweed in the part of my mental space that I had hoped would be a seething maelstrom of creativity.

Good luck with NaNoWriMo 2009!

I don't live in Suffolk, I live in Norfolk but I'm right on the border between the two as I live in Thetford XP.

Surprised to see some people doing this who live quite close.

The GF and I are both in Ipswich and she's tried to sign up seven times and has actually managed it this time and I've signed up for the 1st time.

I'm from Suffolk but I'm not living there right now as I'm at uni in Stafford. I went to sixth form in Ipswich so I'm definitely from the area. Good luck to all you guys!

I'm from Ipswich too! Few, I was worried that there wasn't anyone from suffolk since it didn't have a region catergory...

Hi all,

How are people getting on? I have to say I'm finding it a bit easier than when I did in 2005. I actually feel like I'm enjoying it.

Hey, another Ipswich resident here and a first time NaNoWriMo- er.

Does anyone here write in coffee shops? Used to love doing it when I was at Uni in Bournemouth but I feel so much more self-concious doing it in Ips for some reason!
