For everyone planning on attending the kick-off at Lettuce Lake Park, we're currently over at shelter #8. Unfortunately, I couldn't get in touch with anyone about booking a shelter, so we MAY have to move! We'll have out a balloon to mark us and a sign, too. If you have any trouble finding the place, give me a call. 813-546-5221. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Wish I was going to be able to get out today. I've been shut in all weekend working away. 8(
At least I know what NaNo will be like since I end up like this all too often...hope to meet some of you at a Write In at least!

I had every plan to be there, but I'm down with the flu. I decided not to share. Hope y'all have fun!

Hey Viki,
Just wanted to say thank you again for setting this up. It was SO nice to be able to talk shop with people who GET what you do! I have already met and talked to more writers in Tampa than in the last 3 years of doing NaNoWriMo! Thanks for getting me off my butt to look in the forums. I plan on using them to help get by this month. Just make sure you post plenty of information on Write-ins!

Thank you Viki,
----------It was great to meet everyone at the picnic. What a fun group. Hardly any geeky people and I think the rest of us will keep the Dr. Who fanatics a secret in our Tampa Bay closet. LOL. BTW, get your nails trimmed (I meant finger, toenails are optional) pencils sharpened, and brains caffienated. We're almost off to the races. Lisa

It was great meeting everyone! Thanks for not cracking too many jokes about my last-minute idea change, which of course is still evolving and I've decided nothing yet. I think I'm going to just keep outlining both ideas this week and then see what I start writing on Saturday at midnight...probably something completely different, knowing me. How many days do we have to write this again? Infinity, right?
I hope to make it out to a write-in...I'll even drive over the bay to one in Tampa!

Honestly, I was hesitant about going with my wife, Amanda, to the Kick Off, but I ended up having a really good time. Now, here I am... participating along with everyone else. I'm nervous, but I think i can stick with it! Wish me luck!

You were popping off some pretty good ideas for writing insanity at the kick-off! So we know you have a pretty good imagination. I think you'll do just fine.
Good Luck to BOTH of you!
