Hello all you Reading wrimos in wrimoland. :D I know you're there. I've heard you poking the Berks county thread. I know there are more of you than usually visit us.
I'm making this thread because you're all fabulous, and my personal nano tradition is to hang out in the Wyomissing Borders cafe on Friday and Saturday nights and wait for other writers to have write-ins with me/us, and then later sometimes stalk the local IHOP (which will be woefully disappointing now that our favorite waiter no longer works there. :( ). Weeknights, unfortunately, are less easy for me, since I'm a Boyertown native, and that's a 45 minute drive no matter how you slice it, and work in the morning and all that jazz... But the rest of you are more than welcome to make plans that don't involve me. :D
So, what do you say? Who's with me? Who's willing to sacrifice precious novelling weekend time for the joys of write-ins with practically-strangers? :D C'mon, Reading! Don't be shy!

So, like, due to the housing market being full of fail, I will be trolling the Wyomissing Borders on this Friday night, October 30, from 7:30 til ... whenever we get bored, but definitely at least 8:30. :)
It'll be my roommate and I definitely, and anyone else who wants to show up (the more the merrier! :D!) for meeting and absurdity and commiserating and potentially other funness? But seeing as to how I /live/ with my roommate, most of that stuff is more fun with other people, so. ^^
I'll check the thread (yay! subscriptions! :D!) between now and then, but we'll welcome anyone who comes out to see us to join us for the evening, or even just a little inch of time. I'll be L, the six-foot-tall red-headed obnoxious and hyperactive one, and she'll be Uny, the sidekick, and you'll be come out and see us, or something. XD

Crudmongers... I'm supposed to go to Shocktoberfest this Friday night - dunno know what time though. Hubby is going deep sea fishing and I'll be with a non-writing, girlfriend of his fishing buddy / friend of mine. But maybe we could wiggle into line early and then shoot over to Borders on the way back to Honey Brook - I mean, we'll already be on 222, right? I dont think she'll freak out too much about showing up and meeting a bunch of strangers... heheh. Might make an interesting scene.... hmmm, come to think of it - Ive never just met up with strangers like this either.

For those of you unfamiliar, it's free to use, takes up the whole screen, counts your words if you want it, and saves as a .txt, for your nanoing convenience. :D Plus, no grammar or spellcheck unless you download those options separately, and you can pick your colors, fonts, and spacing choices. I'll try to make it Saturday next week. Went to the kick off in Boyertown last night.... Got lost trying to get there (I so need to learn the area better) But I did find a place that I have to work into a setting for my book. Came around a country road corner and was like Whoah, this is too good not to use.
Sometimes I love my navigational skills.... or lack there of.
You'll see me with a light blue computer bag (I've figured it's tied to me the whole month) a purple jacket and a look that screams I should get some sleep. I'll probably be nursing a quad shot. I need to run out to get one today. need at least 5k words today. Shooting for 7k

:D writing 2k tonight was like bleeding out my pores. Unpleasant and not something I wanted to do at that exact moment. But it was 11:00 when i started, and there was a quota, dammit. >_>; So I wrote 2k of crap and got some semblance of a plot drive going again. *Shrug?* It's what comes of working later than expected and then being a shoulder to cry on for a friend and then having existential ANGST at another friend whose religious beliefs differ extremely radically from your own... XD; And then trying to calm down so that you can write. *facepalm*
Awesome, and grats for the collab. :D! But clearly your other novel does not have nearly enough janitors. >_> I think you should add more. And girls, too, while you're at it. XD;

Girls? What in the world are they and why would they need a place in my novel?
Though, would it surprise you if I said my personal nano, not the collab is 1,566 words of crap that I have just decided to trash. And.... was written about a girl. And last year's first attempt was written about a girl as well. Both of which ended up trashed. And... that I don't have a clue what I want to write about. Though, I really like the collab piece. We have a semblance of a plot. My character is in love with a girl *gasp!* and there will be vampires once we get off the cotton farm!
Also, did you know we are having a word war with PA:Philadelphia? Did you know that I am waring against myself? Is that entirely fair? It definetly can't be good for my sanity.

I have an extra 1000 words cause I started a new story. Suprised? I think not! And... I haven't gotten any writing done since then. I'm thinking of just using the collab as my word count, cause.. I think we might be ahead of/right around schedule with that. BUT! I will be getting some writing in this weekend. And, if we decide on a time, John will be coming on one of the days. Yay! And Jen will come on Sunday if we meet up around 6 or so, cause we're having yummy home made dinner before that. And she'll come on Saturday too if we do sometime afternoon before 5. :) I'm waiting to hear back from Jen, but to let her come play write-in with us, we were looking sometime around 1 on Saturday, 6 on Sunday (I <3 Jen and miss her and you both. ^^ ). I would be absolutely thrilled to see John again! I totally hope he can make it out. :D
Meanwhile, 'that boy from last year' has no name as far as Uny or I can remember. o_o We keep going 'Todd? Larry? Grant?' But all the e-mails I ever sent him (even last year) went unanswered, and if we had his AIM name, that's not online ever either. So um... no? Also, my stalkersense hasn't tingled at all any time we've gone up to Borders... *headtilt*
I've been trying to get a friend I talked into nano to come up with us this weekend, but unfortunately she works like, literally all day on both days.
