Hello everybody!
My name is Amith, and I'm a teenager living in Lakewood, Co and I was wondering how many other teens out there in Colorado would be willing to get together and maybe make a group or just hang out. My school, Lakewood High, has a writer's club that has a lot of members doing this, and we're a really fun group of people who'd love to meet other teens taking on NaNoWriMo that we could actually meet in the person.

So... any teens out there?

we'll drink lots of coffee
(or tea if that's your way)

Hey, it's Caitlin, also from Lakewood High! We'd love to meet other great writers from around here, crazy-awesome enough to be doing this year's NaNoWriMo. Drop us a line if you're interested!
:) Good luck this November, and lots of love!

Yay, I'm glad for the interest. Where do you guys think would be a good place to meet? Do you guys live downtown or around in other places? I myself live close enough to make it into Denver or to Colordao Mills, even Southwest Plaza.

I'm Tom, senior at Arapahoe HS--newly minted 18 year old, so although I'm technically an adult, I would be so up for a teen meet of some kind.

As for a place to meet...maybe like a Borders or Barnes and Noble...another place I had in mind (I haven't been there before yet but it sounds cool) is Lollicup

Lollicup is AMAZING.

Also, guys... help.
I'm thinking I might not even try this year.... I'd have to share computers with the whole house, it'd be inconvenient for everyone, I have to get ready for the ACT...
So basically, I just need some serious motivation before tomorrow.

Wolfgirl: Did you see the createspace offer? If you won you could totally get your novel in book form for free no strings attached. That's my motivation XD

As for the meetup...I'm really kinda wanting to go to Lollicup X3

Heyy, I'm Chloe, also from Lakewood. xD We should all definitely meet up and write! I'm going to have to second Amith's suggestion of Southwest Plaza or Colorado Mills.

I'm also a teen! I live in Aurora, also went to Smoky Hill High last year.

I'm up for anything, as long as I can get food or coffee. Or can bring food/coffee.

Lollicup sounds like a pretty awesome place from the site.

Wish I could have seen the South Park pumpkins in person though :P

I live in Westminster/Broomfield, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to make it there if there was a lot of snow, but we should totally try to set up a date and time to meet up :)

Hello everybody!

If we all can't make it to one location, we could change it so that we can meet as many people as possible :)

Is next weekend too soon for a meet? (I don't know how many of you can drive or such). I also assume weekends would be best because of school. Though Fridays would also work for me, and probably the lakewood writer's club because we could all shuttle down someplace for a meet.

Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday afternoon is what I'd suggest.

I'm so excited!

Next weekend Saturday or Sunday evening I could totally do even Friday evening. Depending on time and where I'm sure I could make it =3

Hmm.

Any day/time works for me. And I THINK I know where that is, so I could probably get there.
My problem is getting there without letting my parents know it's for a NaNo meetup. They're uncomfortable with that sort of thing.

I could invite some friends along and have that be my cover, if that's OK.

Resident Mullen nano here!

I can do the Mills. Not sure how my parents shall react to Nano meet ups though. Shall have to run it by them and see what happens. I'm in Westernaires (if any of you have heard of them) and this weekend I have Annual Show both Sat. and Sun.

Though after this weekend Sat. nights or Sun. work for me.

Any drama kids here by chance?

I would actually vouch for Sundays, not only because I have speech meets on 2 Saturdays this month, but because people in general tend to be doing less stuff on Sundays. But don't conform your meetings to my standards. :P

Also, where is Colorado Mills? ^^;

Take 6th Ave. to the Indiana Exit. If you were going west on 6th you'll make a right at Indiana and follow Indiana until you see the giant Colorado Mills sign thing.

I'd be interested in coming, depending on when/where it is. I'm new to the area and have to rely on A) the GPS and B) it not snowing, because it freaks me out to no end (the snow.) My only concern would be trying to get into a school-related area when I don't specifically attend that school (or any school, for that matter. lol.)
