I was curious about students at RISD or Brown. I'm at RISD, but I live at home in Fall River. I thought it might be cool if there were any others from the two schools we could have a write-in on one of our campuses. Since our schools are so close and generally, a Brown student can get in to RISD buildings pretty easy, I don't now how it works on the Brown campus, though... But, anyway... If anyone's interested I'd be glad to try and organize something... Maybe at Carr Haus?

Schools are a natural for Nanowrimo, and few places are better for this than College Hill. And Carr Haus is awesome.
Students, don't be afraid to set up your own events! Just because you're in Providence doesn't mean that the official events are the only option. The more write-ins, the better, I always say.
(URI is also a natural for this, hint hint.)

Dang it...if it were summer, we could meet on the main green at Brown or some other equally awesome little field. Aw well. I'm not too familiar with the layout of RISD, but we could always meet at one of the campus's libraries.

I know! With warmer weather, that would be awesome. Alas... Well, RISD's library is on Westminster, near Kennedy Plaza. I'm not sure where Brown's is, though. It might be easier to get to since I'm guessing it's just up the hill a ways.

I think the RISD library would be a good place to meet. I'm at Brown, but I've been there before. If anyone else is down, a power session tomorrow to really get going would be fun.

15 Westminster Street. I won't be able to make it tomorrow, but definitely other days I'll be able to go.
I think Brown students might have to sign in at the security desk when you enter 15 West. 'Cause I'm not sure if your IDs will get you through the door. And there are a few rooms in the library for study groups, you could probably meet in one of those. But, I guess... if tomorrow only Brown students will be going, then you might as well just meet on the Brown campus, but whatev.

Is there a day this week that any of you would like to meet up? Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons are good, I think. I'll prolly go to the library anyway. If anyone's interested let me know!

I don't get out of work until 5, but I'd love to meet up to write after then Thursday or Friday, or sometime this weekend.
