Yes, dear Elsies, it's that time again!
This thread is for light-hearted banter between rival Word War teams - there should be similar ones in the other regions by the time November starts. Please keep such banter friendly. The use of smileys is actively encouraged. :-)

I've kind of read the rules but it's time for bed...i need an early start tomorrow to get a couple of thousand words written...then i have to work out how to upload them!
As you can probably tell...i've never done this before.
PS What is an ML?

ML is Municipal Liaison - we don't have one, but if we did, they'd be the ones organising live meets and write ins and many and various other bits.
You don't need to worry so much about the uploading of words, at least until you hit 50K and need the count verified... as far as the Word War is concerned, just update your word count every other day and you're sorted. Oh, and write lots of words! :-)
(Now will go back to not panicking about the fact that someone in Oxford has already done over 17,000 words!!! ::Waves at DuraKan:: )

Hello! :D
Haha, I was actually attempting to write 50,000 words today... It started well, but I collapsed into bed at 7:30am with aching fingers and intense nausea. XD I feel like such a failure!
I know this is supposed to be banter, but GO ELSEWHERE! WOO! I had great fun with you guys last year, and I wish you all the best in repeating your spectacular achievement of second place. >:D
