Hello everybody! ^_^
I'm on the hunt for any other Victorians doing NaNoWriMo this year. This is my first year doing NaNo, and I'm excited. I got into it because of a post one of my friends made on FaceBook. I've been aware of it before, of course, and read some Fan NaNoWriMo.
I'm 17, from Bendigo. Where are you guys from?

Awesome!
22, Stawell and female.
Got into it because of a friend, she started it last year. Have read one FanNano, but had no clue what the Nano part was and didn't bother looking it up, which I kind of regret.

Sweet! Nice to meet you guys. ^_^
Only two days untill we start writing, I can't wait. I'm also excited to see what others write as well. It'll be a bit akward with my exams for the first two weeks of November, but I hope I can get it done. Are you guys doing anything special to kick off NaNo?

Hi There
I'm a first timer from Bendigo, too. I only signed up yesterday on a whim, so goodness knows what I've let myself in for!! Should be fun, though.

Hi there,
I'm from Mildura and this is my first year doing NaNo. I wasn't aware of it until a friend told me about it and encouraged me to join. Should be fun in between work and the kids.

Hi! I'm 22, from Lascelles (a tiny town about an hour from Swan Hill. Speaking of the area, nice to see someone from Mildura! Though it's great to see so many people here full stop!). This is my third time doing NaNo, though I've only just got around to signing up, and I'm confident this year is my year. Hopefully it'll be all our years, so good luck to everyone :)

Hey All! I'm from Warrnambool in the south west of Victoria! Great to see some people from outside the metro area - I was starting to think I was the only one!
Good luck everyone! (I know I am going to need it, this is my second year and I have no idea what I am going to write but that's ok, I have about an hour and a half to think something up!)

Hi everybody,
I'm another Gippslander (for the time being) and this is my first WriMo. I did write a 54,000 word novel last February though ... which spilt over into March ... and April ...
Good luck and keep writing! The first day was easy. Hope the rest are the same.

Hi! I'm 17 and I'm from Swan Hill. It's nice to see so many people from this region doing Nano!
----------This is my second attempt at Nano and I've decided not to start until the 12th because that's when my Year 12 exams finish and I hardly need another excuse not to study. Hopefully I'll be able to get by 50k in 18 days!

I'm not exactly 19 either. In fact, for my 53rd birthday, on the 28th of this month, I'm hoping to have an almost completed, really bad first draft that I can work on in the new year. I'm lagging a bit, though, because yesterday was almost a dead loss - full of unexpected phone calls and visits, so I only got about 400 words in. I've nearly caught up, though, and hope to exceed my quota again by the end of the day.
I couldn't even hope to keep up with all you younger, more energetic people doing 10000 words a day. If I even attempted that, I'd probably end up in traction by the end of the week! Soooo, I'll just plod along behind you at granny pace and see if I can catch up by the end of the month.
Well done all of you. Keep up the good work. Even a few words a day is better than nothing at all.

Whoa, sorry I tripped out on you guys! I injured my hands and have not been able to get on. It's great to see some new people here!
How is everyone going in their writing? Happy with your word counts? Any characters misbehaving?
