Hi, I'm 18 and a senior in high school, and I go to church too, so all the write-ins and meetings being on school nights and Sundays doesn't helps me! I just joined, so I wasn't at the kick-off party...
Who arranges these things? Is there any way to arrange to have one or two on a Friday or Saturday afternoon/day/night? I'm sure there are other people who have school or work or church that would appreciate having one on a more accessible weekend day...

You do! As ML, I set up several write-ins that fit with my schedule and other Wrimos. Of course my schedule doesn't mesh with everyone, so if you want a Friday or Saturday write-in, do it! Just tell me when and where and it'll go on the calendar and other wrimos will know about it and meet you there. Nano is totally participant driven. So while I'm around to help lead and organize, what you guys want is what should happen - so make it happen!

Saturday - this week my husband and son are going camping all weekend with the Cub Scouts so I will have all day Saturday to myself.
I plan to be at the Chick-fil-a on Millerville (my office away from home!) writing. Any and all are welcome to join me.
Chick-fil-a has free wifi, a play place for those with kids who are of an age to use said facilities, and free refills. AND it's clean and the people love me there. There are two power outlets (I asked for myself before I got a new laptop) but they aren't always accessible because non-writers feel the need to sit at those tables!
However, I will be there for lunch on Saturday, probably getting there around 11:30 or so in the hopes of getting a good table! If you want to come, too, please do. Bring a jacket as it's cold in there no matter what time of year, but I love writing there.

I will try to make it to the Chick-fil-a on Sat. at 11:30 am., but I can't promise anything. I might not have the gas to get there. I will have a notebook and pencil/pen cause no laptop. LOL So I won't need a plug-in or wifi. LOL
