I'm planning quite a number of write-ins on USF campus (location to be announced in the other thread at least 12 hours prior). I'm thinking Tuesdays after 3 pm and either a Friday or Saturday sometime in the afternoon or evening. There's also a kick-off party this Saturday around 10pm (and begin write-in at midnight). Still thinking of a location however.

Hope you can swing by sometime in the coming month!

Like you Lacy, I'm in Pinellas County. I would head over to USF for a long write-in, but I would love to organize something on this side of the bay! I'm going to be up at midnight, but since I'll just be getting off work around 11:30 I don't think I'll go to the kick-off write-in (though I wish I could...but I feel like I'd be wasting time driving over there). If you want to do something at midnight over here, or anytime during the month, I'm down for sure. I can find a place - the library has some great rooms but then of course it would have to be during the day. I don't know what places would be good for a nighttime write-in...

I would love to do some over here as well. Tampa is a pretty far drive. I can't make it to the midnight one there either but maybe we can set something up during the day on the first. And see if there are other people from pinellas that would want to come. Do you know any? I am new to nano this year.

Lisa, I remember! Palm Harbor or Clearwater would be fine with me! Is that mid-afternoon on a weekday or weekend? I work weekdays but have every other Friday off. I can make it work though or just come late! When you have a date/time/place let me know. I took some PTO in Nov. too so it might just coordinate...

Lisa,
Just go ahead and schedule things whenever/wherever they're convenient, I'll work around you! If I can come, great, if not, no big deal! I don't want to cause trouble because my schedule is full, and I can be flexible if I kiss up a little ;)

When y'all know where you're meeting for a write-in on the Pinellas side of the bay, let me know. I live in St. Pete.

Hey Lisa,
Are you guys planning on doing any weekend meetings? I work full time and am in school full time so weekends are pretty much my only option. But I can do it any time on the weekend. If you guys want to meet at 2am I will be there. I hope you dont but if you do I am in. Let me know, I hope I can attend a few write-ins.

Let me know when you get the details of the write-ins all thought out. I'm a student at USF. Don't live on the campus, but it's no chore to get there. :)

Lacy, Jacren, h to the eather, I'll set one up on next Sunday afternoon, around 2:00 pm. There is a Barnes and Noble on Us19 in north Cearwater by Sunset Point road. Would that be good for everyone? Lisa

i vote library. it's easy to find. its usually quiet. but anyways i'm in after 3 on tuesdays, that's actually perfect for me.

I'm over at JPH on the campus and there is a pretty little lake right there in front of the fine arts hall right off magnolia. I'll probably be out there a few days a week. usually mondays and wednesdays after 12-ish. if anybody wants to do a write-in (or out, in this case) there i'm all for it.

That sounds perfect. I know exactly where that is. As long as nothing horrible comes up, I'll totally be there.

I'm in the New Port Richey area but down in the Palm Harbor area once in awhile. A Thursday or Friday afternoon for me would work.

Hi fellow writers:

Have you gotten off to a good start? I only have a day's quota done so far, so it looks like I need to stay up late tonight.

I have some free time this Friday afternoon, and would like to invite any/all of you to join me at Panera Bread in Tarpon Springs for a write-in and/or discussion about how to do this thing. We can bounce ideas off one another, if you like. I did participate (successfully) in 2007, but that makes this task only a little less daunting.

Time: how about noon till ?

Panera Bread, US Highway 19 (#4158)

40968 US Highway 19 North
Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689

I'll be there with my laptop, so I can get something done even if no one else shows. But I do hope I get to meet some of my fellow Nanoers!
