So, is anyone in the more east bits of the East Side of Pittsburgh interested in setting up more local meet up? There are a bunch of really nice little coffee shops in the Bloomfield area, and its immediate environs, that would be great places to sit and chat and work on our wordcounts (without having to trek out to Oakland in the middle of High Scholastic Season, when the coffee shops are swamped with studying freshmen).

So what do we think?

I'm in for meeting in Lawrenceville/Bloomsfield, it is definitely closer than the college area for me!

I'd totally come along on any night when I'm not working, and I'd probably drag my two nano-ing roommates as well.

Very cool! Wednesday's are pretty much the only days that are bad for me; I'm free most evenings. We should definitely be able to work something out.

How about the November 10th City Write-In? Name the coffeeshop you guys prefer, and I'll slap it on the Google Calendar. Crazy Mocha, Starbucks on Liberty, what else am I missing? Let me know - I would love to head back to my old part of town for some writing! :)

Tuesday nights are awesome for me - because my husband teaches in the evenings - though I also like to go to karoake around 10pm. :) Other then that, no set day of the week is good or bad!

My schedule changes week to week and I don't usually know what it will be until the Saturday or Sunday before it starts. However I've been free Tuesday evenings for a while now (and of course now that I've said that I won't be free for another Tuesday until Nano is over, with my luck). I would like to nominate Tuesday, but as I said, I'll just be striving to make any meetup that happens on a night that I'm not working.

How about the Shadyside Crazy Mocha? They've got a good deal of seating, and the atmosphere's good.

Could've sworn I've replied here before.

Ugh. I am coming down with a flu. Thinking making everyone else sick by eating near them will not be a good idea. I will wait a few days until I am well enough to come out for writing!

I put it on the Google calendar: our write-in on Tuesday the 10th will be at the Shadyside Crazy Mocha (this is the big one on Ellsworth, right? You know, Tuesday night is bacon night at the Harris Grille.... I'm just sayin - we can't write all night! ;).

The Google calendar is on our region's front page, up at the top in the header (right next to that nice, outdated picture of me ;)

Alternatively, I am trying that little address thingie, so you can try clicking here!
