I used to live in Miranda but not anymore. My friend (username on here is blossom) is in the Shire though. We went to high school together.

This is one of those rare occasions where I feel I have to ADMIT to living in the shire. :-)
Based in Menai here.
Just started NaNoWriMo yesterday - obviously - and so far have hit 3719 words. So slightly ahead of target so far, which is good.
Thankfully, I planned the novel chapter by chapter before I started, so it's really just a matter of getting the words onto paper.
I haven't had much trouble keeping up so far; I've got an iPhone so I can write on that whenever I'm out and about - on the way to and from work etc.
I also use Writeroom on both my iPhone and online which keeps my writing synchronised whether I'm writing on my PC, or iPhone.
How's everyone else doing?!?!?!
Regards

I didnt start till this morning, but managed to get one days worth out before heading into work.
Got a writing date with a work colleague for every morning this week.
That definately makes things easier.
And the fact that it takes an hour on the train to get anywhere!! Yay for lap tops.
