Only a little over 10 hours until kick-off and what are you doing? Personally, I'm doing laundry and cleaning out my fridge. Why? Because who will have time to wash their clothes during November, and why bother eating at all? Just write write write!!! ;-)

What are your pre-launch plans?

Dreading. I have no idea how to start my story and right now I am feeling less than inspired. Also, my father has decided it is cleaning day at the house, so I haven't had ample time to sit and prepare anyhow. I hope your NaNo eve is going far better. :)

Going to bed at my "usual" time so I can get up and get going in the morning.

Today it was grocery shopping. Maybe a little more planning.

I have created characters, locations, and events. I'm not 100% sure (more like 10% if anything) what's going to happen in my novel. I'm going to start blasting (uh...yeah thats the word!) out scenes and see where they go. I have a couple endings in mind.

Then when I get past the 50K mark or more, I can start thinking about layout.

But already... I'm looking at the NaNo forums and reading all the pleas for help and I'm thinking "get over it" just do something quit whining etc etc. How much of my time am I going to sacrifice to solve other peoples problems. I've got my own.

Boy am I grumpy already too.

Jeff

p.s.
My novel's title as shown on NaNo is just a working title... sure not carved in stone.

I am trying to get the chores done, laundry, cleaning the bathrooms etc. because as someone else said, It's not going to get done much in November!
The kids and hubby are really going to have to put forth some effort if they want clean clothes and a clean house anytime after today!
I'm also really excited, I had a sit down with a local police officer and we discussed police procedures for some events that may happen in my book. Boy there is a lot I don't know about Police work! It was fun learning about his job and he was very kind to a novice like me. I am still trying to organize my note cards and stuff, really don't know the whole story line yet, but hey thats part of the fun right? Please say RIGHT!!!!!
Enjoy the rest of the day NaNo's

Here, here! I concur! Completely! Not that it should be that way, but we're in the same boat, brother!

I slept a lot of NaNo Eve away. I'm still kicking the flu bug. And I made a banner. =) And, that's about it...

But, I DO plan to be at http://www.crushedmuffin.com/Chat2.htm for the midnight online kick-off!

Happy writing. Enjoy your last hour or so of free time!!
