Three cheers for those of you starting your novel at midnight! May your Muse be chatty.

I'll be among the morning starters most likely, but I'll be thinking about you all when I hit the sack tonight.

Good luck!

I'm nodding off as I type, but I am determined to hit 500 before letting myself crash.

I got the title, my pen name and a couple paragraphs down. Otherwise I'm watching shambling corpses on the telly and figuring out what to type next.

Excellent starts - everyone of you. Don't forget to update those words counts, whether you have 52 words (like I started with) or 500 words. Way to go to all our late night Red Hots!!!!!!!

We're totally beating Chris Baty!!!!

keep up the excellent work, the novels will come. I believe in each of you.

Insanely Yours,

Okay it's just after 2am, after having set the clocks back. I think it's time to wrap up and head to bed to get some sleep before tomorrow's (or today's i guess) write-in.

2600 words so far.

I started just after midnight. Stopped by the house to drop off my candy, grabbed my notebook, and went to the 24-hour restaurant with my hubby and jotted down my first two paragraphs. Almost up to 500 words, but its really, really late, and I still have to be up for the Write-In, so I need to go to bed soon.
