Okay, so, I made it to 1674 words within the first hour of NaNoWriMo, and I am so proud of myself! Let's see if I can keep up this rate with five classes, running a student org, and everything else going on in my life. My sister better not have her baby prematurely. If Luke interrupts my nano, I might be a little upset (jk).

2,149 as of 1:10am. I need to finish this section before bed. I've only got my homework done through 11/4, so I have to write ahead. I'm pleased to have earned a box of Junior MInts AND the addition of one song to my Wal-Mart MP3 shopping cart before the time switch, though. Yay!

Around chapter 8 my main character has to decide whether or not to undo the events that led to the total annihilation of Austin, Chicago, Lima (Peru) and Vancouver/Seattle. It's harder than it sounds, okay?

I made it to 1,951 words within the first hour of NaNo. Considered stopping...started closing up my notes and setting things aside for tomorrow...looked at the end of my document again and thought "what the heck, might as well keep going, I'm still awake."

I now, as of 1:45am, have 3011 words and a completed chapter. *breathes*

And now I'm going to bed.

It's 2:13am and I have 4730 words. I took a half an hour break at 1:30. I want to make it to 5,000 before I go to sleep and then hopefully 10,000 by the time Sunday is over.

2,536 as of 11:47pm. I'm way behind where I was at this time last year. Ugh. So disappointed with myself. My characters are rebelling against doing anything. Well, I'll just have to whip them into submission or something. Sigh.

Woot! Just got the numbers for my writing group - we have 5 participants and got over 21,000 words on the first day!

Sadly, my 14 year old daughter got the most with 6K+ words. :P She rocks!

8,724 so far! I'm so excited, I usually start out on a streak but it doesn't usually last me so long.
Usually the moment I exceed the bare minimum goal I'm like "Oh now I can put this away for a few days, thank God" and then I fall behind. But I'm actually ahead right now!

Dude, I actually started the first chapter!! Yea! I know it's day 4 and all and that I'm severely behind, BUT, starting is 1/2 the battle. I finally have a plot and actual characters! Crazy! and 1 of my characters has already changed his own name without asking me!

just got to 6683. i'm about 20 minutes behind schedule, but i'll probably do some writing tomorrow (today?) and i plan on getting really ahead on friday and saturday. i can't write any more right now because i have SO MUCH homework to do. let's hope i can get back ahead on friday then.
ps. the insanity started day 1. two sentences in my characters confused me. now there is a cyclops with manners, and pretty soon the fates will be involved in a surprising manner. i love this book!

10091! yay! and i finally introduced my antagonist, who, right now, is actually kind of likeable, which makes me sad because i won't want to make her bad. still, it's got to happen, and gwenyth (a muse) has to start stealing ideas sometime soon. i took this plot from "adopt-a-plot" last year, to give whoever wrote it credit.
write-in tomorrow at osu thompson library. i'll be there early, with my pink&black striped fingerless gloves (and maybe my day-glo yellow hoodie, idk)

Wrote over 4K today, which is awesome for a work day (even a shorter one). That brought me past 16K total. I'd love to be past 20K in the first week of NaNo if I can do it again tomorrow.
