Any writers in the Carmel/Westfield area?
I think it'd be super to have someone to meet up with at Starbucks once a week or so to talk about how Nano is going and everything.
Or even someone that would text me and go "Hey Kit, you working on your novel at all? GET CRACKING!"

I work in Carmel, so meeting after 6 p.m. some evening would be possible, but it's kind of out of my way on the weekends.

I'm in Westfield and could meet in the Westfield/Carmel area some weekdays after 6 as well.

I work in Anderson Friday-Tues, so Wed & Thurs are best for me most of the time. I don't get off till 8PM and it takes about 45 min to get home from Anderson so on a day I work it'd be kind of hard.

I go through Carmel/Westfield on the way home from work, so I could probably come to something in the evenings during the week.

I'm not sure if this is any help to you but I'm a team member for the Indy Writers group (IWG). We have write-ins planned on Fridays during NaNo at the Borders River Crossing store. Here's the info:
Join us every Friday in the month of November for IWG Write In's!!
Border's River Crossing is offering to host our Friday evening write in's. There are no event scheduled for the month of November so besides the occasional espressio machine, the manager assured me it will be a great place for us to get together and write. Border's has free Wi-Fi so you can get on www.nanowrimo.com and enter your word count or do any quick research you need to as you write.

The Friday write-in is on the calendar now, so with any luck that'll help others find you. Let us know if for some reason it gets cancelled, since I put it up for every Friday next month.
I can't promise I can make it, but I'm going to at least stop by and say hi if I can.

I live in Noblesville, and can meet almost any time, except for 2:00-5:00 Mon. and Wed. As well as Friday from 8:00-10:00 and 2:00-5:00 (college). I would really like to get together, if at all possible. I think that's what I'm really going to need throughout this month. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the majority of the write-ins that are in Indy, because of fundage for gas, so the closer to home, the better!

I live at 96th and Keystone, and I work right up the road from the Borders store in question (I go there all the time on my lunch break). I am totally up for a write-in.

The one I actually prefer to go to is in the Village, technically in Westfield by Kohl's. The staff there is a lot more friendly than the one in Clay Terrace, though the one on Hazel Dell and 136th isn't bad either.
As far as I know, The coffee shop in Borders is actually Seattle's Best. Haha jsut in case that mattered to anyone.

Hey Westfield, Carmel, Noblesville and Fishers writers--I propose a write-in at either the Barnes and Noble at US 31 and 146th St. (greyhound Pass) or at the Paradise Bakery at Clay Terrace. Both Starbucks (Clay Terrace and the Village) are too small if more than three of us show up. If we want coffee creations, then Barnes and Noble has Starbucks. If we don't care about coffee as much, Paradise would work.
Please chime in and let me know what time--day time while the kids are at school or nighttime and then I'll get something formal scheduled. BTW--for those of you in Fishers who don't know how far west we're talking, From either location to the Fishers YMCA is 12 miles.

Barnes & Noble would be great. I'm restricted to evenings after 5 o'clock (and I'm booked with write-ins on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons), but if there's a time I can come I will definitely be there.

Either Paradise or B&N is fine with me, though I'm rather partial to Starbucks's lattes, so B&N would be my top choice :)
I'm good Tues-Thurs after 5:30 and until 9 or so.

Who said Barnes and Nobles at 146th street??? I'm there. Date and time please and let's do it.
Maybe we just make the time span something like 6-9pm and people can drift in and out as schedules permit.
I plan to hit this Friday and the weekend hard, although I'm not sure how long the battery life on this laptop is.

That sounds good. I think I'm actually working Next Wed but I'll head there Thurs do if anyone wants to go a second night or can't make it Wed. and come the 13th I think I'll have about 7 days off so 9 times out of 10 I'll probably be at the starbucks in the village pretty much the entire time they're open if anyone wants to meet up there. Nothing scheduled or anything I just know that's probably where I'll be a lot of the time. ----------

I've got events going on every Wednesday for the next year or so, so Thursday would work a heck of a lot better for me. If you want to Anestel, I'd be willing to meet up with you then. Probably bring one of my friends as well, if I can sucker him into it.
Would anyone else be willing to come on Thursdays as well, or aren't able to come on Wednesdays?

Awesome! Well, I'll be there then, methinks. As long as I know I'm not going to be the only one, 'cuz then it's no fun! I'll try to be there from 6-9 if I can. I'll be wearing a bandana most likely, and if not, I'm the kid with the long hair.
