Hey anybody from the Lovettsville Lucketts Brunswick area? I might be able to hit the Greenberry's write in on Wed, but I'd rather stay localer.

I'm close in Pt. of Rocks. I'll be at a writer's retreat Nov. 15-22, but other days I could meet with you. I'm fairly new to the area. Where could be meet to write?

I used to host write ins at Beans in the Belfry in Brunswick, MD. It's an awesome little coffee shop. Unfortunately, my life has exploded and I'll be lucky to get my 50K in, let alone attend too many write-ins. I decided not to do Beans this year because we had really low turn outs when we did have people, and I really didn't get much writing done. Our group seemed to be more "chatters" than writers. And not that I don't enjoy chatting... I do... but with the tight schedule that I'm running these days, I need all the time I can get to pack that word count in there.

I'm going to the Greenberrys write-ins in Leesburg, but that's about all I can muster.

Still, I recommend Beans for write-ins close to Lovettsville. They have free wi-fi and they even have a few terminals upstairs if you have a flashdrive or use googledocs to do your noveling and don't have a laptop. I don't really know any other places in Lovettsville to go. I think that Talk of the Town has free wi-fi, but it's often kind of cold in there, and the chairs aren't that cushy for writers to snuggle in to.

Good luck!
