I'm headed out of state that morning, but if we make it a weekly thing, I'll try to get there later in the month!

I plan to go every Thursday except for the last of the month, being Thanksgiving and all :)

I might try to make it to as many as I can. I usually avoid that entrance area of the mall because of the beginning of holiday season traffic, but we'll see what happens because I also want to spend some writing time at Panera in the mall devouring seasonal soups.

And of course, ditto on the not going on Thanksgiving... even if they are open, that's first Thanksgiving with the newborn daughter.

I'm in! I can't do anything on Thanksgiving either, considering that it is my mom's birthday as well, but I'm up for any other day that week, even on the 30th (The Monday after, plus a finale write-in might be fun) if we need to.
I can't wait to meet you all in person on Thursday and get some serious work done on my story!

Guys I am REALLY sorry but I am dealing with an emergency at work and I am trying very hard to get out of here but I don't think there's any chance I get there before 8.

Which at this point may be good so that I cool off by then ;)

Thanks for coming out everyone! I like changing the scenery when I write to keep the creative juices flowing. I wish I could have gotten there sooner...but gotta pay the bills first 8)

Next week we'll move to Borders. I'll update the main thread tomorrow with the location information. I want to get a little more writing in now though!

: ) I had fun, and I actually wrote 1,799 words, which was nice because I expected to be very distracted and write like, seventeen words, haha. So I am "defiantly" in for next one.

See you guys next week! : ))

I had a great time Thursday and got in about 800 words. Unfortunately I only around the same amount last night. I am really starting to lag behind. Hopefully Thursday I will have better news.

Jessie - If you want to go to B & N on Wednesday, since school is out, give me a call and I can give you a ride.

See you all on Thursday at Borders.

Kelly

Well, fate has seen fit to make a liar out of me. I know I told a few people at the B&N meet last night (which was a lot of fun and extremely productive for me) that I was going to definitely be at the Borders meet tonight, but unfortunately that's not going to happen. My daughter Tessa's mother was in a bad car accident earlier today. Fortunately, Tessa was with me and is just fine, but her mother suffered nasty head trauma, a possible broken foot, and is going to be in the hospital overnight. Needless to say, things are hectic and if all I miss is another write in (Depending on how long I have to care for Tessa on my own, this might be a NaNo ender for me as far behind as I already was) I'll be counting myself lucky. Everyone who does go, have fun and good luck with boosting those word counts.

Oh, no! I'm so sorry to hear it! I hope you'll keep trying to tough it out. Tessa's got to sleep at some point, right?? Most importantly, I hope her mom's doing okay. But keep trying, I know it gets rough especially when real life throws this kind of crap at you.
