And we're off!
As promised, I'd like to serve as a facilitator for communication among Nanowrimo participants in the area. These forums are great, and the site as a whole is more stable than before, so visit early and often.
My personal e-mail address is banazir@gmail.com.
For those of you who use Internet Relay Chat (IRC): the municipal chat room for Manhattan, Kansas is #nano on orome.homelinux.net, port 53067. Just connect your IRC client and "/join #nano". For a list of IRC clients, see http://bit.ly/2euTo1 (some good ones are xchat for most every client, mIRC for Windows, irssi for Linux, and ircle for Mac).
If you're on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, feel free to add me, and if you are on LiveJournal, I'm not dead, just pining for the fjords!
As for MySpace, Xanga, Orkut, Blogger, Friendster, Vox, and Dreamwidth: I have those, but if I'm awfully quiet there, it's because I don't check those much. Feel free to drop me a line there too, if you like, though.
Instant messaging: Google Talk (banazir), Skype (banazir), Yahoo Messenger (rizanabsith office / hsuwh roaming), MSN Live Messenger (rizanabsith@hotmail.com office, hsuwh@hotmail.com roaming), AIM (rizanabsith office / hsuwh roaming), ICQ (191317559 office / 28651394 roaming)
Social networks: Facebook (hsuwh), MySpace (banazir), LiveJournal (Nanowrimo: tanelos; general: banazir - on hiatus), LinkedIn (William Hsu), Orkut (banazir), Dreamwidth (banazir [NEW]), Xanga (rizanab), Vox (rizanab), TypePad (banazir), Blogger (rizanab), WordPress (banazir), Friendster (William Hsu), FriendFeed (banazir [NEW])
Microblogging services: Twitter (banazir), Identi.ca (banazir), Facebook & MySpace status
Video/photoblogs: YouTube (main: banazir), Flickr (main: banazir)
Feel free to post any contact info you like here, including where we can write you for more screen names.
Cheers,
Bill

Perhaps if the actual info was sent by NaNoMail? Would that be a safer alternative? Or not safe enough?

Hello!
Actually, I keep all of this information public as well (if you click on my home page link), but if you would like me to either take down the thread in case our regional wrimos don't realize that this site is crawlable, please let me know, or feel free to delete the thread if you feel it is necessary.
If your disclaimer, or one you would like me to post to the same effect, is sufficient, that's fine too.
Many thanks,
Bill
