I live in the neighborhood and think it'd be awesome to have a once/twice weekly write-in. Anyone else agree?
Possible locations:
Alliance Bakery
Sweet Cakes
Letzia's
Other suggestions?

Count me in! I'm right on the Wicker Park/Bucktown border, at North and Damen, so I'd love a write-in in my neck of the woods for once.
Wednesday evening, maybe? I have class Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7:30, and official write-ins to run on Mondays and Fridays. Otherwise, on the weekends maybe?
No preference on locations!

I can't do Wednesday. Looks like weekends? Maybe Sunday afternoon (say 1 or 1:30?) aaat....
Alliance?
Oooo! Or maybe Myopic Books, since that's near your intersection. That could be fun.
There have to be more NaNoers in the area. Where are they?

Wednesdays sound good to me. I would like to suggest the Starbucks at Division and Paulina or so--the one just west of the post office. It's close enough to Division Blue, and the Milwaukee, Division, and Ashland buses. And plus, I could walk there straight after work :o) I believe they are open until 10:00.
*edit: I would also be able to do Sunday afternoons there. Maybe 2:00 or so?

If not Wednesdays, Sundays would be good with me, except I have to be at the official write ins, so this Sunday I'm in Schaumburg from 2-5 PM. I can do before or after that, though! Every Sunday is different for me... the following Sunday I think the write-in is from 1-4 PM.

So does anyone want to meet up tonight in Wicker Park? If not, I'll head home and watch Criminal Minds and do the Online Write-in, but if anyone wants to meet at a cafe somewhere and write, just lemme know!

Ack! I didn't see this until a little bit ago, and anyway, I was out and about all day today. But if you're still up for a write-in next Wednesday, I'm all about it!

Absolutely, let's plan for next Wednesday! Maybe 6:30 PM to 9 or so? I don't have any suggestions on location, so it's your call.

6:30-9:00 sounds good to me. How about the Starbucks on Division and Marshfield (near Pizza Metro)?
Anyone else? :o)

I'll add it to the calendar! Shiny, I love being able to write without going more than a block from my house. I'm lazy like that :D.

Hey, all! I'm going to hold an impromptu write-in tomorrow afternoon (Sunday, November 8th) at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Starbucks at 1701 W. Division. All ChiWriMos are welcome! :o)

I'm actually sadly at the Schaumburg write-in from 2-5 tomorrow, sorry :(. Otherwise I would definitely come.

I'm still on, for sure! I probably won't get there until closer to 6:15, since I leave work at six. But I am totally planning on being there!

I work until 6 also, so it'll be closer to 6:30 for me knowing the lame trains.

Okay, I am a total lamer, but I think I need to bow out of tonight. I'm just not feeling great... achey, hot/cold, exhausted. I think I'm coming down with something, so I'm pretty sure that I'm just going to go home and curl up in bed and eat soup.
Next Wednesday for sure, though, sorry :(

Lamer! :-P Just kidding. I hope you feel better. What a crappy time to be under the weather! (Not that any time is good for being under the weather, but you know what I mean.)
I still plan on being at the Starbucks at 1701 W. Division tonight, probably closer to 6:30 than 6:00. I've got a NaNoWriMo hoodie and my Toshiba laptop has a NaNo sticker. I hope a few other people make it!

I know, I fail :(. At least I'm getting sick now, and not over Thanksgiving or my Florida trip in December. (Um, hopefully? I think I just jinxed myself by typing that).
If I feel better by the end of the day, I might stop by for an hour, but I'm so exhausted right now that I can't even focus on the screen to type.

Is anyone interested in a write-in at the Starbucks on Division tomorrow (Wed., Nov 18)? I could be there by 6:30.

I might or might not. I have a book club to go to tomorrow night, but I might just go home and sleep, depending on how I'm feeling.

Eh, I'm going to cancel the write-in tonight at Starbucks. (I think I was the only one going, anyway.) It's going to rain, and I don't want to carry my laptop in the rain. I will do the online write-in tonight, though!
