Hi,folks!

Yesterday evening I posted the NaNoWritMo.org site to Yelp in the hopes of attracting fellows Yelpers to the writing orgy. Several have said that they either have joined or "will join soon." So...look for a bunch of newbies to join up. Or not.

This is my first year in the frenzy. I heard about the event in the Port Townsend (WA) Leader when I was there last week. As a retired SFPL librarian who can't abide "formal" writing classes, I knew it would be just the ticket for me to get off my duff and start writing. Thus far, I've kept up with my own schedule (1,750 words or so) and its much easier than writing that dreaded "monthly report" which the San Francisco library requires of most librarians.

Turning in this evening. Three dogs, a feral cat or two and a patience (but bemused) spouse await my belated journey to bed. Onward and upward...tomorrow dawns early!

Check Yelp if you want to post additional comments to the NaNoWriMo review. I'd love to read your additional observations there.
