We had such a great turn out for everything that happened this weekend!! Yesterday we even took over the basement of the Coffee Lounge of a bit!! Until some boring none NaNo people invaded. And everyone seemed to be having fun. :)

We also raised a lot of money in the Tip Jar, which will be being donated to NaNo at the end of the month. By the end of the weekend we had £46.48!!! Can I get a Whoohoo?

Whoohoo indeed!

And just to make things better, as of just now, we're the 29th-highest ranked region worldwide. And just because I like to big us up some more, we're the

    third

highest region in the UK. Only London and Elsewhere are beating us. By a mile, admittedly, but we're doing well.

Let's keep this up! It's only Day Two, so it's not too late for anybody to help us in the battle for glory! Vive la Republique! :D

(And it's great for yourselves, too, natch)

Argh, I'm so frustrated that I couldn't come this weekend (my ride failed me) but well done on the money raising side of things and on having an altogether great weekend! I'll try to come to some of the other write ins, I don't want to miss out on all the fun that you guys seem to be having!

It is great fun, and it would be lovely to have you there. :) I hope you can make it to the next one and your ride doesn't fail you again! (Which I'm sure it won't. Two weeks in a row would be really unlucky.)

God, yeh- that would suck if it failed me again. But, at least not being able to leave my house means that I have more time to work on my novel.

I enjoyed the weekend, but it turns out I'm new too old for all-nighters - today was spent in bed with a headache.

Cieria - will you be posting the photos on Flickr or something? I'd love a copy of those from the hotel.

I'll post upload them to my photobucket at some point and I'll post them here. Or in their own thread. I'm not sure when I'll get around to it though. Sometime when I've got enough words to not feel guilty when I'm having a break.

I'm so sad that I couldn't make it to the first write-in! I'm going to try and make the next one. Think I need the push! Although I'm still ahead in wordcount if I don't get my finger out I won't be for long :(
