i can't be the only busy person crazy enough to take this on. Share your misery with me here!
Things I've got lined up and should be doing, except I've got this awesome novel in my head -
1. College coursework
2. Internet serial novel (and I'm almost out of pre-written chapters, so I'll be doubling up starting next week! *gulp*)
3. Book reviews and author/editor/publisher interviews - at least three lined up so far
4. Submissions for various short story magazines/anthologies
5. Flash fiction contests
6. Exercise
7. Attempting to sustain a social life.
Still, here I am, writing away. I'm going slower than I did last year and the year before, but I'm still making the daily deadlines. I'm way behind on the podcasts I subscribe to, so at least I'll have a bit of audio to keep me company while I'm working.
I'd better get used to staying up all night.

You go girl!
I already warned friends and family I will be a little preoccupied during November, so they know chances are I have to decline any social invites. It's only 7 and I want to go to sleep. This new job is kind of kicking my clock in the butt.

Hoooray, a vent thread! Boy, could I go on for hours...
1. Work 40+ hours a week, if you count travel time during which I can't write because I'm stuck in 10mph traffic on the parkway and it's pay attention or get rear-ended. Wheeeee!
2. Sleep. I need more of it. I've been exhausted to the point of not wanting to get out of bed at all this week, and that means that I'm running on negative energy reserves by the time I get to the computer in the evenings. Not good for the writing, let me tell you...
3. Housecleaning. It just ain't gettin' done, really... but since my fiance cooks, he expects me to wash dishes, do the laundry, clean the litterboxes (he does them every other week or so), and otherwise keep things tidy!
4. Puppy. That word on its own should say enough... walks, play time, distractions from when she's in her crate and whining her tail off... ugh. I feel bad for the poor puppy, but she's in need of constant supervision so puppy out = no writing.
5. Paperwork. This kinda goes along with work, but it's unpaid, on my own time and usually ends up being put off till the weekends... all 6-7 hours of it that needs doing. Ugh.
6. Visits with relatives. Fiance's grandma just moved closer to us, so she's a half-hour drive away and all this week we've been going out and visiting with her after I get off work. that's great, but I don't have a laptop and he doesn't bring his with most of the time, so I'm out of luck writing, and am usually too tired when we come home. :(
Hopefully next week will smooth itself out a little bit, but this week has been horrible for my writing and I'm getting way behind!
