An excellent read. It has the two elements of horror that work the best for me, external menace (the drill sound, the pliers, the stares of the little girl and her mother), and internal terror.

I've never been big on the (not sure if this is a technical term) 'ooggah- booggah' horror, with the monster outside chasing the protagonists around. I'm more of the 'internal boogie-man' person. This hits that tone very nicely for me. The pacing was quick but not rushed. Not an easy thing to do in a short venue, I think.

Nice picture and bio. This magazine seems very pro-author. Very supportive.

*raises both thumbs to the 'up' position*

Well done.
