Yes! I have made it here, despite working all day and not starting writing until well after I'd planned to. But I have made it to the 40K mark, and now I'm down to just thousands left to write. Ahh, such a good feeling. *basks in the glow for a moment* Okay, now I still have some words to write before I reach my daily word count goal for the day.

Today at the write-in I crossed the 40.000 line.

It's so hard to believe. I wish I felt more exuberance. For now, I'll just be puzzled and oddly pleased that I'm here. Exuberance will come eventually. Maybe when the whole shebang looks more cohesive. ahem.
