Okay, so I was kinda trying to figure out if since I have 49999 wrds of my first story, and 1000+ of my second story, would that mean that overall, I have over 50K wrds? I figured that so, so I just put it up....
So....yeah, 50K had been reached. (yay)?

I did it! Had to drag myself across the finishing line today, but I am done! With the 50K, that is. I still have another 3-5K left to write to finish up the story, and then I'm going back to the beginning. I know how to introduce my characters a bit better now.

P.S. I did it! And boy, it's really amusing that I hit it with exactly the same number of words as the very first time I did this. :)

Gano!
I checked it in the middle of a sentence, and was at 50,008. Just had to update and watch the bar turn green. Now I can't remember how the sentence was going to finish.
Still about 5K from the end.
Woo!

I hit the 50K mark at the Scribbling Recklessly night. It was the perfect place to cross the finish line. It was a wonderful evening with great people, lots of decadent food to indulge in and fun prices. I was impressed that people came in from Alabama and Memphis. Cudos to them for making it there. Thank you Fly for all you did to make the night and all the other efforts you have put forth. You are the bomb!!

HOORAY!!!
My hat is off to all of you who have finished so far ahead. Outstanding!
Especially the moms who've been dealing with family and will now host relatives and put on a big shebang for Thanksgiving.
You are incredible! :-D Lily
