Carnegie Mellon, anyone?

Oh yes. I was hoping that someone would make a post like this. I'd dig getting together with other CMU peeps for some writing. :3

Yup, I'd be glad to hang around with people who are also frantically writing, hopefully then I won't forget/slack off partway through.

Note the post time; of course I'm a CMU student. And, um, it's actually not working out so great for me so far... how are you folks faring with balancing NaNo and studying?

On another note, should we attempt to arrange a campus meetup?

Ayako, I'm sure it'll be fine. :3 It's more like anyone who's in the Oakland area and who wants to share the trials and tribulations of college writing.

I'm working writing into my schedule basically by getting up really early in the morning and then writing as fast as I can. Then, I can just proceed with my day as normal. :) Of course, I also do buggy, so waking up at crazy odd times is not an issue for me.

Where on campus would people like to meet up? We can let fox know when/if we decide on anything, and then if anyone else wants to stop by from off campus who's around, then they can make it, too.

CMU student...ish. Not taking classes this semester, which helps me fit it into my schedule.
But, I'm on campus every weekday for work,and live nearby which would be handy for any CMU meetups.

I'm a Pitt student, though I'm working a Co-Op this semester (that's probably the only reason I have a chance to try to write). I've also never done NaNoWriMo before, so I'm not entirely sure how writing groups work. But if a group gets together some night/weekend, I'd love to meet up! :)

Okay, let's get something together! Do people have any places or times that work for them to meet up? I think meeting in Hunt library might be fun--when are people free?

I'm free most evenings, just give me advance warning. Weekends during the day too, but don't expect me to be productive (or conscious).

Hunt could be a cool idea.

I JUST graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and finally have the time to do Nano! Didn't risk it while at college, especially with a curriculum like CMU's :] You can do it guys! CMUers don't just win, we overachieve.

How about 8:30pm? Will that give you enough time between the end of Kendo and getting over to campus, Ayako? :) If not, let me know and we can always choose another night/ later/whatever. I'm basically free any weeknight except for Wednesdays, although Tuesdays are a little sketchy.

And yay, round! <3 When I did this last year and just woke up an hour earlier to write and then had my day as usual. xD It was intense, but totally worth it.

I'd be up for Monday at 8:30.

Since I have oodles of work due Tuesday and we're waiting to hear from Ayako, I'm going to say maybe not for this week. Let's try thus again for the 23rd or 22nd, though! :3
