Writing is a solitary exercise, I understand, but I've been here for an hour in this Panera in Russet/Laurel MD banging furiously into my word processor trying to catch up on my word count as part of this Tuesday night "write-in"--and yet here I am in a two-person booth by myself, because I have no idea if any of these other people hammering into their laptops are part of this cabal or not. I'm not about to start wandering the room asking, either; though if I did, I might start with the six-top table near the front. They look suspicious, but they also look like they all know each other.
Anyway I think I'm going to go home now but maybe someone can clue me in for next Tuesday's event here--if there's someone I should look for, or a particular spot in the dining room that has the standing invitation this month for the writers.

Write-in hosts should post signs (available on this site under Fun Stuff) to make the group readily identifiable. I'm sorry you did not find the group. You can PM the host (who should be listed on the event in our calendar) to find out HOW to find them.
Good luck with the next one - we usually get this figured out.
Come Thursday to Borders in Columbia - you won't have ANY trouble finding us!

Trebor! I'm so sad you missed us! We were the group right to the left as you walked in the door. I had a sign taped to the wall above us, but it may not have been noticeable enough. We're in the same place again tonight, and I intend to be in the same spot next week, too. You're welcome to come join us again!
(And if it seems like we all know each other, rest assured that it's just because I'm overly familiar with everyone and bring cookies to sugar everyone up.)
