I found it! I found my motivation! (It was under the couch.)

Turns out that what I needed this year was being a NaNo Rebel; I'm continuing something I already had started (gigantic epic novel-in-progress that was at about 200k words and will probably top out at around 500k), not starting something new, since I have (*counts on fingers*) a whopping 11 novels, 5 fanfic/6 non-fanfic (and even more if you count the serials), in various states of "spread out on the workbench in pieces". Giving myself permission to do that unleashed the flood gates, and I am very nearly back up to my regular November output.

I doubt I will catch Caeraerie, but at least I'm on the board now. *G*

Yay!

I did the same thing. I had other characters in my head because I've been writing them the last few days, and they were just so insistent on not getting out of the way for what I'd actually planned to do.

Can't fight it, huh?

Glad to see you up and running!

Wonderful - I'm so glad to hear it!

And remember, despite all the word wars and challenges, what this all comes down to is the relationship between you and your book. Nothing else matters.

But I am looking forward to you being part of the Crabs-Lushguins challenge!
