Turning off the word count in Word 07? |

Is there a way to stop MS Word 07 automatically displaying the word count in the bottom left of the document? Glancing at it every 30 seconds is starting to grate and I can't help it! It would be easier if it just wasn't there. Thanks. |

Right click on a blank bit of the status bar and you'll see a list of the things you can show on it. Remove the check mark from beside Word Count..
