Hi everyone! Due to the sheer number of people who have turned out at the tee-off and first write in, it would be *very very* helpful if we could have a heads up on what to expect. I'm about 50/50 at the moment for Friday. Doing the home inspection for the new house Friday and the guy said it will take about 2 1/2 hours. not sure if there's anything i need to work out with the current owners/real estate agent after the inspection, so we'll see how that goes and what time i get done with that.

I am so seriously burning the candles at both end so I'm going to skip today and Sunday. I get more writing done at home so I'm going to stay home in my jammies with my caramel apple candy corn (Wal Mart has them for 44 cents) and eclair flavored coffee creamer and do my dangedest to hit 20K by Sunday. I shall be there in spirit though!

Okay... I know I said that I would definitely be there. But I am not sure I will be able to make it tonight.
----------My Gram ended up back in the hospital yesterday, and things have only gotten worse since last night.
The nurses cannot wake her up period, so my mum is heading up there right now, and we don't know if she will be home in time for me to borrow the car. I don't even know if I will be able to make my nieces birthday party before the write-in...
Even if I can find a ride, I have my 15 year old sister and 9 year old brother who I would either have to find a babysitter for, or take with me. My brother is no trouble, he actually wants to write as well and has been asking to come with me to write-ins, but my sister....is energetic and does not sit still well, or know how to be quit for more then 5 seconds at a time.
I will be there in spirit if I am not there in body though!

ok it's looking more like only a 25% chance that i'll make it tonight.
just got done at the house with the inspection (which it passed with flying colors) and we need to get some information over to our lender to get things rolling on their end.

It's official. There is a 100% chance I will not be there tonight.
Things are even worse at the hospital. They're thinking of putting Gram on a ventilator.
I may end up having to pull out of NaNo altogether. Then again I may write my best work ever trying to distract myself from real life.

Canix - writing is a very good distraction from things going on. I wouldn't call it the best thing I wrote, but I did write a very *lengthy* fan fiction the year that I had my grandma and three animals die.
Caffeinatedelf messaged me to let me know that she's under the weather and won't be making it this evening either. But I'll be there, so your ML quota for the night WILL be filled.

I hope it is okay that I bring a munchkin. My 15 year old sister is staying home, but I am bringing my 9 year old brother with me.
He is a little writer in training though, so he will probably just sit and write with us! He has been begging me to bring him to a write-in anyways, so he finally gets his wish!
