A writer from the Tucson Weekly will be doing a short piece about National Novel Writing Month for the Book Feature section of the November 19th issue!!!

She *might* show at the Black Rose tonight but it's not very certain. I guess I'm her go-between.

She says, "It won't be a terribly long article---775 words for the books section---so I'll probably only need to talk to one or two other people besides you. Maybe you can help me pick the most interesting people."

SO! Do you consider yourself "interesting"??? OF COURSE YOU DO! You're doing NaNoWriMo, aren't you? There you go!

Anyway, if you are dying to talk to the writer, (keeping in mind that your half-hour interview with her will get reduced to one phrase from one of your sentences, in all likelihood), let me know. Thanks.

My name is Margrit.

That was a quick visit from the reporter tonight... she got her 774 words in just seconds, eh? ;-)

Nah, I just didn't want to annoy the group by yacking while everyone was trying to write! She's going to interview me and Xander this weekend. If you want to talk to her let me know and I'll put you in touch.

Story is out! Alas, I had to abandon my novel after the first week, but I'm glad the story got done anyway! (Now I just have to get the writer to give me back my copy of No Plot No Problem)
